Guest Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Sorry for the double post.. But a good flock might be.. Raven. Stevie Richards. - Back in his goofball role. Tommy Dreamer. and Kanyon. With an eventual Dreamer turn..I'd like to see Raven and Dreamer fued again, he'd be re-placed by Bubba. I've seen alot of people wanting to see Lensar in it, but Lensar is better off on his own, to throw him in a stable would hurt his "monster" status. To steal a bit he's the "One Man Gang" basically, and I think he's much more intimidating that way. Saturn, and Tazz would both make strong choices but their over on the Smackdown show. Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I like Dreamer in there if only because it gives Raven his superhero power of feuding with guys and then have them join him. I'd like to see the hardys do this. Matt takes on Raven for the Hardcore belt, Dreamer and Richards run in and destroy Matt until Jeff makes the save. Raven and Dreamer take on the Hardys next week and Matt turns on Jeff during the match. Tehn either continue and have Jeff join or break up the Hardys and give Jeff time off to recover from the oft hinted at problems. Also have Matt give Lita a brutal breaking up speech while Raven smirks in the background and she can go to OVW to perfect her Rana, Moonsault and learn to throw a punch
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Looking at recent dark match results, Perry Saturn and Hugh Morrus have been teaming up, and Hugh would be another perfect fit into the Flock. I'd have: Raven, Saturn, Morrus, Kanyon and maybe someone like Bull Buchanan. Richards returning to his Stevie roots would be cool, he can Kanyon could be a goofy duo in the tradition of Richards and Blue Meanie. For some reason though, I think the WWF will keep Richards in the "semi active spokesperson" role, like he was with RTC and Kronik. He may also wind up being a commentator. We all know that Dreamer will never be at the main event level, especially not in his condition. A well booked, WWF style Raven feud (not a total copycat of the ECW one, but maybe some past history and "new developments" thrown in) could get Dreamer over as a sympathetic babyface, and if Raven holds onto the Hardcore Title for more than 10 minutes, could reinvent the division based on that feud. Kane would be another perfect foil for The Flock. He's got that "big man" aura, but a mass beatdown by the Flock could be orchestrated by Raven to show "weakness". Raven would attempt to brainwash Kane, but everyone's favorite Big Red Machine wouldn't budge. This could also be a hot feud with upper card appeal.
Guest Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I think If pushed in the right way The Flock could be a major success. I do agree though that the stable should be kept to a minimum of 5 people. Raven is great on the mic as is Steven Richards, thoses for me have to be in it. I would also like the Hardies to go heel and join the stable too. I don't want Brock in there. He's gonna do just fine on his own and Heyman. You do need another member though - in an enforcer, monster type role. Not Kane, he's too high on the card to be under Raven. Not Kanyon - he could be a face and feud with the flock. I'm steering more towards a new gimmick for Mike Awseome to join the clan???? what do you think? That would be some great developments there. A Raven, Kane feud would help get Raven over as a great heel.
Guest Report post Posted March 27, 2002 Hugh Morris is kinda garbage with a moonsault, but then again he would fill that big man role. I just don't dig Hugh though, if they MUST have a big man.. let's see options.. Kane, Brock, Hugh Morris. So, yeah I guess Kane would be the best choice after a long bloody fued with Raven, it would probally get Raven over as a heel, but..if Kane went heel.. What faces would RAW have? Besides RVD, and Austin IF he goes to RAW, I still have a feeling they'll switch Austin for Rock or Beniot, since it's pretty obvious Austin wants nothing to do with the nWo. So the only way it would work, is if they do the smart thing and turn Booker T. face, and make sure he never fueds over shampoo again. Heard Corino's among the announcing canidates now. Would rather see him actually wrestle as a face vs. Raven. BLOOD BLOOD WOO..morphine injection time.
Guest Vyce Report post Posted March 27, 2002 RAW's roster sucks, and is in dire need of a few key trades....but still, the midcard will need some work, and a perfect angle to put there is to have a heel stable in Raven's Flock. Raven, along with a few others (I'd go with Stevie & Dreamer, at least, with maybe Morrus, Saturn, and Credible too...I'd keep Brock separate), could terrorize the RAW midcard, feuding with the likes of the Hardys, Bubba, perhaps RVD. Raven has always garnered a fairly solid cult following, and I really think a Flock angle would work. It wouldn't set the wrestling world on fire, but it could be very satisfying if booked well.
