Good places to D/L MMA

I've been wanting to pick up some PRIDE tapes and DVDs for a while, but they're hard to find and expensive where I live, so I'm looking for a good place to get some full length fights online, any suggestions as to where to go? Or does anyone here have any good ones they fileshare with?? Thanks for any help.

www.neo-modus.com/

This is a file sharing site where you can find some MMA. It's kinda complicated, but you should get the hang of it in an hour or so. The thing is, it's based in "rooms" and each room has it's own standard - be it "you have to have 20 GB of files to share" or "cable modem" or whatever.

Kazaa is a pretty good place to DL MMA as well. I am trying to divide all the Pride events on my harddrive so it will be easier to DL - I have Fedor/Nog, Rampage/Randleman, and Newton/Pele up already, so you could try to find them (just type "pride).

sherdog.com as always.

Thanks for the links guys. I've been using Kazaa for a while and I have a hard time finding anything but highlight reels and profiles of fighters, but i'll keep on trying. I'll take a look at that other place too.

DC is tough, but my buddy dl'd all the Prides from there plus a Bas Rutten training video.

i think dc is more easy to use then the other file sharing programs.

all you do is double click on somebodys name then wait for their list of files to pop up then pick the ones you want or just use the search bar up top.

Yeah, once you get the hang of it it's a breeze, but for the first while you're like "duh, why come my seachy thing don't search right?"

I'm not very computer literate. Pro-Wrestling Newsgroup? I'm also assuming that those aren't MMA either....

On Usenet there is no MMA Newsgroup so people post MMA files on the Pro-Wrestling one.

Here's a FAQ on Usenet and Newsgroups: http://www.nfonews.com/tutorials/tutnews.asp

Once you get done reading that the only hard about using Usenet is that you need to find out your ISP's 'Newsgroup Server Address', it should be on their website or you can just google.com it up.

Then download WinRAR, SmartPAR and Xnews after you find it.

For RRR who talked about using DirectConnect, how do I find a specific server that hosts the goodness?

EDIT: How weird that the first server I clicked on is letting me d/l a Giant Baba vs. The Destroyer match from 1969. At 212 MB, I'm assuming it's a *tad* on the long side as well. Since most MMA fans are Pro Wrestling fans, you ever hear anything about this one?

I can make a comp tape for you if you'd like. I have all the Pride DVD's except 1, 2, and the GP 1st round. Just drop me a line on what you'd like to have on there and what kind of recording speed you'd like, and whether you want entrances or not, as I can fit a lot of fights on an SLP speed 10 hour tape.

Side note: Pride hasn't released anything past Pride 18 (Dec. '01) yet so I'm limited to the beginning (Pride 1-8) and the glory years (Grand Prix to 18).

I *think* have that match as well, file size doesn't always mean it's a long match it can mean the quality as well.

By the way, I posted the address to the MMA server in my first reply in this thread.
