Which is the best wrestling game for the PS1?

I'll have to say Smackdown 2

I had SmackDown 2, WWF Attitude, WCW Mayhem and WCW Backstage Assault. SmackDown 2 was pretty awesome, a good CAW system, although the storylines kinda sucked. The WCW games had no storyline whatsoever, so that kinda sucked too.

 

Im gonna go SmackDown 2.

I love the little videos on guys for the Thunder game. Especially, Nash looking bored and drunk and Piper flipping out on everything in the universe. The only think I liked about Thunder was whipping ass on everybody with Bobby Heenan. I had an epic cage match with Kimberly once that conisisted of nothing but dropkicks.

Smackdown 2's Graphics and colors seemed sharper than the Smackdowns! on PS2. The hair edges and the blacks especially. I loved it.

SD 3 and 4 are way way better than 1 and 2

And 5star, I'm just saying that the colors and lines were a bit sharper. I still can't get a good black on 3 or 4. but 3 and 4 are better, hands down.

I created such a cool stable of Kane (!), Taker, Chyna and a CAW and they ruled the season mode (to the extend which is allowed in SD2...) It was cooled to see them all walk backstage together and talk about run ins for my matches.

If you DO get SD2 please do yourself a big favour by copying a saved file with a completed Season mode (6 years). Otherwise you would DIE.

Which wrestlers in the game were based off of which real life wrestlers? I know Area51 is supposed to be Sting, and I'm thinking that Sparrow is supposed to be The Great Muta/Keiji Mutoh. But what about Agent Orange, Lance, The Commandant, and the others?
