The only one I've ever seen "beat" (whatever that means) Banky is Marney and she likes him now.

I seem to recall completely fucking owning Banky one night several months ago. It's fun to reference this now, since he's become such a major player on this board in the absence of nearly every single person worth corresponding with. I still don't think he's funny, nor do I consider him to be particularly adept at "flaming" (it doesn't take a lot of brainpower or energy or sheer unbridled angry vindictiveness to best the likes of Mole, y'know), but he's definitely managed to capture the imaginations of that scary group of people known as "people here who are younger than I am." And for that I can at least sort of respect him.

 

And I actually had the opportunity to speak to Inc. the other day (we are not now nor have we ever been the same person, for the record) and, much like myself, he's basically gotten sick of the sight of this place and the fact that there isn't really anyone left worth talking to. So when LooseCannon and myself went MIA, he decided to give up the ghost and move on to greener pastures and all that business. I still enjoy posting here to a certain extent, though the dearth of both available time for Internet-ing and anything worth saying here (the music folder is dead, I rarely ever watch wrestling anymore, etc.) ensures that I typically don't get in any more than 5-10 posts a week. But whatever. There's more to life than this.

At least 20 losers online and 3 people I know personally have wished death upon me.

Other people are jealous of Banky because he gets away with being someone they cannot, simply because he pulls off his persona with excellent execution and they're the weak minded and sympathysing type who couldn't. Those who have that resounding gulp in their throats before they step up to the home plate and have trash thrown at them upon sight. To become a substitute for Banky is a public act of admittance that he owns your soul and there's nothing you can do about it but walk out in self-pity.

 

I am sick of people telling their friends that they're not being themselves... perhaps they have more than one side to them that they need to show, and you should let it be so?
