Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 The quality of Raw has improved in recent weeks, and it's starting to show in the ratings. This week's edition of the show did a 3.9 cable rating, with a 6.3 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is up from last week's 3.7 and continues a good trend for the company as they head into their first brand only PPV on June 15. This week's show did hours of 3.7 and 4.1. 1wrestling.com
Guest razazteca Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 The Rock cannot save the show every week.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 It seems like the shows have not been as rushed lately. From what I’ve seen, there is a better transition from one segment to another as of late, which results in more development of the overall show.
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 ::taps foot impatiently:: Damn it I want my 2.0 and I want it NOW.
Guest Downhome Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Up and down the rating goes, where it stops nobody knows! Plug in Funk, Foley, or SOMEONE like that for next weeks show (with the fans anticipating Rocky to show up again, etc...) and I wouldn't be suprised for next weeks RAW to break 4.0 again.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Good on them. I know everyone likes to see them falter, but I'm getting a bit fed up with those saying "Oh, The Rock got the ratings" or "Triple H is killing Raw".
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Because it's funny seeing a billionaire fail miserably? I don't know, you tell me.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yep, so far, FOR ONCE, RAW has not bored me, or dissapointed me. Hopefully, Vince realizes this, and continues with the trend.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yeah, with the whole Mr America/Vince crap going on on Smackdown, I'm more into Raw.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yeah, with the whole Mr America/Vince crap going on on Smackdown, I'm more into Raw. No, he wants you to think like that. Don't do it! Ahem~
Guest Downhome Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I'm actually pleased with WWE as a whole for the most part as of right now, except for a couple of things here and there. Then again, there will ALWAYS be something that you dislike about the shows, even when the shows are outstanding.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I didn't mind Mr America at first. After all, it was the most over feud in the company. Now, it's just getting too weird.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I also like what I'm seeing as of late. You don't have to watch or like every single thing, but it seems like its improving as a whole.
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I didn't mind Mr America at first. After all, it was the most over feud in the company. It also was the most over-televised program by far on Smackdown.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 True, but it was the one that the live crowd got most into. I usually like what the live crowd likes. I'm sad like that.
Guest Mole Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Yeah, with the whole Mr America/Vince crap going on on Smackdown, I'm more into Raw. No, he wants you to think like that. Don't do it! Ahem~ When it was WCW, I was game with that because WCW was just a mess. I don't like seeing WWE ratings falls probably because that is the only fed I watch.
Guest Downhome Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 True, but it was the one that the live crowd got most into. I usually like what the live crowd likes. I'm sad like that. Even the Stink Face?
