How could you say that Tony Montana has no good qualities?

He killed the assassin because he refused to assassinate a woman and children. He wanted to protect his sister at all costs. He took care of all of his servants as long as they were loyal.

His "balls and his word" were the two things he wouldn't break for anybody.

Not sure how much this will go over but when I first watched A Clockwork Orange, Alex De Large was the character I hated the most in all of cinema. such a stupid prick. But by the end of the movie I was cheering for him all the way. Kubrick always fucks with me like that.

Anakin, Mole. Not Luke. Anakin's a mega-tweener in the long run, as he's slowly building to the heel turn that we all know is coming in Ep. III

Oh God, I'm such a retard. I jumped the gun on that one, my bad. I really need to think before I say something, no wonder I get flamed a lot. Oh well.

Off topic, but one of the greatest villians that I have seen is Hugo from O. He has such a great plan, and does such a great job at fooling EVERYONE. He does all of this just to get his father's attention.

Kevin Spacey in L.A. Confidential.

He's just enjoyably sleazy, taking payoffs from reporters to expose public officials and so on, but he's also not a bad guy because he's not working for the corrupt faction of the department. Totally out for himself and cynical, the way a "tweener" should be.

Loki in Dogma.

He was a bad guy, but he was-at the same time-trying to do what he thought was best for everyone. Plus, he showed in the parking lot scene (which is by far Ben Affleck's best performance EVER!, BTW) that he wasn't a really bad guy.
