Guest Steviekick Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I want to see how horrible the Andre/Kahn stretcher match is
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted June 7, 2003 speaking of shitty DVDs, i just got Hulk Hogan, Shannon Tweed & Carl Weathers' TNT original classic Shadow Warriors on DVD for like $2. Andre/Kahn on DVD? Better than Sid/Gigante i suppose.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Hurricane/Richards--is that the last ever Vertabreaker or no?
Guest Matt Young Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Nah, that was a few months ago. Then again, I don't blame your for not being able to keep track seeing as these guys wrestle each other practically every other month on the pre-PPV Heat (not that I'm complaining- the matches are good). Perhaps Yuna's knowledge of all things Stevie could come in handy here if you're looking for the match with the Vertebreaker. I actually don't think it was before a PPV either. i recall reading spoilers for the taping.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted June 7, 2003 The Hurricane/Richards match containing the last Vertebreaker ever aired on March 9th. And nothing could get me to buy this DVD. Nothing.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I wonder if they're going to superimpose the date of 1986 for the Andre / Khan match to tie into the whole 17-years-ago timeframe ... even though the bout took place at least 5 years prior.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Why there is not enough Nash on that DVD. No sir, not by a long shot. For Bad Blood they need to run a 12 hour 'Non-Stop Nash' marathon which will be comprised of Nash/Mabel being repeated for the entire duration. Fuck.......yes. Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted June 7, 2003 i may pick this dvd up when it comes out just to see how bad Andre/Killer is.. plus i didnt see the event so..
Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Cripps has more developed abs than usual in his picture. I guess he was jealous of how Brock's looked, and had them change the pic.

Good, you don't want to see it stay away from this PPV. It is the worst in WWE history. Nothing at all could make me even look at the cover of the DVD. No really memorable matches, some memorable because they sucked so bad (looks toward Nash and HHH, and then at Hogan and Piper).

Guest KanadianKrusty Report post Posted June 7, 2003 (edited) Why is everyone saying the Kahn/Andre match is so bad?, early 80's Andre isn't THAT painful to watch. Edited June 7, 2003 by KanadianKrusty
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 7, 2003 I liked Kahn/Andre.
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted June 7, 2003 Andre/Khan by 1981 standards was pretty good I understand. Since they only had a no-holds-barred rules match like once a year it was something special then.

Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 8, 2003 It was an OK PPV in my eyes, with Brock/Show being so much better than I would have thought helping it end on a high note. I'll pick this one up just mainly because the new WWE DVDs have a 2002 graphic featuring a lot of superstars that stretches across the sides of all the DVD releases and if you get all 12 is completed. I've got the 2, so I might as well continue on and make it complete.
Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2003 Did anybody know why WWE was hellbent on using the 17 years idea. I mean wouldn't the match sound more "devastating" if there hadn't been a stretcher match in 22 years?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 9, 2003 WWE has forced me to buy every DVD this year by pushing my obsessive compulsive button and putting a mural on the side of the DVDS that can only be completed by owning every one. I bought Royal Rumble to see Benoit/Angle...and now I'm screwed.
