Guest Ace309 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 SINGLES MATCH - PROVE THYSELF! Tod deKindes vs. Mike Van Siclen - Well, Tod needs a win to anchor his credibility on this return, but Mike really needs to seize the fish if he wants to move up the card. I'll call this one for Tod, but I'm hoping for Mike. SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Nathaniel Kibagami - If he writes, I think Kibagami can pull this one off. Don't overlook Atlas, though. NO-DQ MATCH Janus vs. Wildchild - Janus is the next Thugg. Sorry WC. SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. "The Judge" William Hearford - Strangler is the last next Thugg. Bill's in my stable, wrestles my style and will likely do some damage to set up the PPV match, since I've been showing ass like a heel champ. Bill for the block. MAIN EVENT #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE TAG TITLES Danny Williams & Dace Night vs. Frost & Longdogger Pete - Oh, jesus christ. I can't predict this one because it's just too much. Both teams can pull it off.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 SINGLES MATCH - PROVE THYSELF! Tod deKindes vs. Mike Van Siclen -It looks like Tod didn't want to be booked, so that might hinder his writing. Everyone sits around and waits for MVS to get on a roll, but he couldn't even get past Ash at the US Title level. I like both guys, but I feel that neither have lived up to their potential lately. I'm going to go with Mike on the hunch that Tod gets tripped up. WINNER: MVS SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -I think this could be a very interesting and intense match. Kibs has really impressed me since his return and Atlas isn't quite on the roll he was in the JL. Much like Janus, the n00bs appear to be barely beat out by the experienced vet a good portion of the time. Now let me throw in the standard "Kibs if he writes" and we're all set. WINNER: KIBAGAMI NO-DQ MATCH Janus vs. Wildchild -See, Janus has had little problems with his fellow recent bumpees and Wildchild really hasn't set the world on fire. He has looked strong in the past couple of weeks with the handicap win over Neilsen (has that bastard even showed in the past month) and the no-gravity match over Tod. I really like Wildchild's character and this type of match lends itself to being the type of spotfest that he specializes in. However, it doesn't entirely, you still need some sort of match and structure and I think Janus will utilize the stip best without degrading into a hardcore match or spotfest. WINNER: JANUS SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. "The Judge" William Hearford -Logical booking says Strangler picks up the win to make him look strong heading into the ppv, especially after the six man lost last week. I see Judge returning the job here and a Tom Flesher run-in. WINNER: TBS MAIN EVENT #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE TAG TITLES Danny Williams & Dace Night vs. Frost & Longdogger Pete -Very intriguing match up. You have traditional American heavyweights vs. puro styled mat wrestlers/strikers. The winner is who can ever find the most dynamics in the characters and build a match out of that. I think Pete and myself have proven to be the best with that, but Dace and Danny are two of the best when it comes to the technical aspects of a match. This should be very tight when it goes to the marker.
