Guest nl5xsk1 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'm prefacing my statement with the fact that I don't like it's hhh that's doing so, but I do like the fact that the belt isn't changing every few weeks or every few months, like it did a few years ago. Yes, it'd be better to have _________ (fill in the blank) as the champ for a year, but having one person as champ for a long time is better than it being handed around like a hot potato.
Guest Masked Man Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Yeah, I think Triple H should win. In 2000 he held the belt for a long time and no one complained. This should be the same way, but longer. Let's face it, he *IS* the biggest active star Raw has to offer.

Jericho gets more heat than Triple H, and if Booker T didn't have his pushes deflated, he could draw crowds. The big difference in 2000 was that Triple H didn't tear his quad and had talent.

Yes, he really did say it. Now that he's said his opinion, stop having a heart attack and go back to the Triple HHHating ways. ...sorry, couldn't resist myself.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Na, I'm only poking some fun at myself. Trips = God.
Bored Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 If Triple H truly gets his way he'll drop the title this Sunday and then beat Goldberg at SummerSlam and then win the title back from Nash at Unforgiven. The next four months will be a fascinating (or nauseating) look at politics in the WWE up to the real life wedding of HHH and Stephanie. Am I the only one who thinks they might use an entire Raw to show the wedding?
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Am I the only one who thinks they might use an entire Raw to show the wedding? They'll use up an entire SMACKDOWN show. Think about it, Steph gets herself on the TV more as she's been wanting lately, and it also helps Jean-Paul do what he does best. HHHolding down the roster.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 If there is a wedding, it will finish with Nash running in with a hammer, Vince and Steph getting the pedigree and Triple H buying viagra. BAH, GAWD, ROCK THE CASBAH, HUNTER~!
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 If there is a wedding, it will finish with Nash running in with a hammer, Vince and Steph getting the pedigree and Triple H buying viagra. Don't you mean Lazybombed?
Guest nikowwf Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Don't respond to Masked Man, gimmick poster. Let it die a slow lingering death. And, i think they will use a PPV to show the Stephanie/HHH wedding! niko
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I prefer to call it the "buddy title".
TheFranchise Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 So how do they explain the wedding? HHH joins SmackDown! And as part of the deal, he gets married to his boss?
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 It's a party, Marge - it doesn't have to make sense.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Ha, Great episode. Oh, and I stepped on one of your peacocks. Got a paper towel?
TheFranchise Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I'd love to carry this conversation on, but it would mean looking at that photo in your sig.
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Ha, sorry. Should I change? Maybe a bit of Lizzie McGuire?
Murmuring Beast Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 He wrote the music and performed for the Beach Boys.
Guest jester Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 Ok, Nash got an unofficial pin on HHH on last night's Raw. He's also got a referee that doesn't like him. HHH is keeping that belt. I wonder why HHH is a heel, but they book him like a face?
Guest The Tino Standard Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 After last night's Raw, I will be STUNNED if Nash wins on Sunday. He has been getting less and less camera time leading up to his main event match on PPV. You would think if they were grooming him to win the title, he'd be getting on TV a lot more and building momentum. I think for once the WWE realized the corner they've painted themselves in and are trying to sweep this under the rug. Fans have rejected Nash so they've only brought him out in very limited and protected situations. Besides, HHH has gotten punked on the final Raw before just about every PPV title match he's had. Last night was basically a half-hearted attempt to get people to think Nash could win on Sunday. But remember the old rule: Get punked on Monday, win on Sunday.
JasonX Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 So how do they explain the wedding? HHH joins SmackDown! And as part of the deal, he gets married to his boss? My guess is that HHH will get shipped off to SD after Summerslam, presumably after jobbing to Golberg. In exchange, expect Brock Lesner (who will drop the belt to Angle, so that Angle can resume the position of being HHH's bitch) to be shipped off to Raw and turned heel so that the WWE can feed Golberg to Brock before sending him out of the Fed...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 I really could care less who wins. Either way it's the Clique keeping a more over worker from getting the belt
