RAW vs SMACKDOWN!

SMACKDOWN VS RAW

If one, and only one, had to be on TV right now, which would you choose?

(if only one could be on TV, which one would you prefer to be on)

Also, is it worth getting cable that only shows RAW? In Australia, we don't get to see Smackdown anymore ( we might get it back soon however :) )

Smackdown.......easily.

Raw only has ONE wrestler I really care about. (maybe two)

SD has Angle, Benoit, Eddie, Brock, Rey, Noble, and soon, Ultimo.

Smackdown for sure, except I like Storm, Jericho and Christian on Raw...

I'll pick RAW since I haven't seen SD! in a long time.

Smackdown has a better roster...but if I wanted to see wasted talent...well...I guess I'd watch SD!

SD as even when there is some damned crap on the TV (see Big Sloth) it's not THAT terrible.

...ok, it is, but not as the debacle called Raw.

Smackdown

Benoit, Angle, Ultimo, Rey, Hardy, Eddy, Tajiri, Lesnar, Noble, Spanky > WWE's writing/booking

Raw has Booker, Trish and Jericho but they don't equal a better roster than Smackdown

It's worth getting cable for Raw if you can't get anything else. If you absolutely have to see WWE wrestling, then it is worth it. Wait, actually it depends how much your cable costs and what else you're getting it for besides WWE. If you're getting it just for WWE alone, then maybe it isn't worth it.

Smackdown. I like watching it before most everyone else. No annoying commercials. Takes only an hour and a half to watch.

Plus, for the most part, its usually much better than RAW.

RAW. As much as I hate HHH, he's a far more compelling (I guess) character than Brock.

And RAW has Jericho and Booker T who I mark huge for.

I haven't actually sat down and watched Smackdown in ages. Don't know why.

Probably Raw, since I usually tend to miss Smackdown most weeks. Of course, I'd rather have Velocity than either of those two.

RAW, without a doubt.

Given, I cannot view Smackdown! where I live, however from what I see on this board and in Fatty McFat Fat's rants every week, Smackdown is full of so much utter crap that I'd just end up walking away should I be able to see it here anyway.

RAW has the comedic value of Kevin Nash and supreme atmosphere created by Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Christian and HBK.

For me, that makes RAW more enjoyable. The wrestlers I care about, with the exception of Rey Rey, Angle & Benoit, are all on RAW.

Well, if you needed some sort of wrestling, then yeah. NWA TNA is also on Fox and PPV, so that should tip the scales in favour of getting cable.

God, I hope Smackdown does come back soon, they sure made a debacle out of that...

Smackdown, no question.

The only people I care about on Raw are Book, Jericho, Helms, Flair, and Christian.

On SD, there's Benoit, Eddy, Chavo, Knoble, Brock, Team Angle, Rey, Mattitude, Shannon Moore, Cena, Rhyno, Kanyon, Kendrick, The FBI, and (if he sticks around) Doug Basham.

Smackdown...c'mon man, like I would pick a show with a boring overbearing champion when I could have a show with Benoit/Angle/Mysterio/Eddy.....

Smackdown's become shitty lately...

Benoit-Jobber To The Stars currently

Angle-Got his return shit on when The Big Slow came out

Mysterio-Well, at least he's been used properly as of last week when he won the Cruiserweight title instead of getting tossed around by The Big Slow

Eddy-Not doing too bad, though he's stereotyped as a thief due to his Hispanic heritage, Tag Team Champions with Tajiri

Ironically enough, the Mexican wrestlers have been used better lately than the American/Canadian wrestlers.

God.

RAW. Because even though I may loathe HHH, I love Booker & Jericho. And I'm quite fond of Austin, Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer, RVD, Austin, Goldust, Rico and Flair. And I've even grown to enjoy Maven & Nowinski.

I like Raw better right now. I know what you're thinking, "OMG but SmaCkdOwn has better WORkRatE! LOLZ!", but Raw has improved lately with Austin as GM and Jericho being on a roll lately.

Smackdown meanwhile has been treading water since Heyman's demotion. There are actually more wrestlers I like on Smackdown, but they're generally badly misused. See Angle, Kurt as damsel in distress on his big return and Benoit, Chris as jobber to the (not) stars. And this Mr. America nonsense eats up way too much time, it started out relatively harmless and mildly funny but in true McMahon fashion it was completely run into the ground.

Smackdown may produce the better matches, but not neccesarily the better television.

It's hard to say, but I'd rather watch Smackdown a little more. It's more exciting this past year. And I'd watch to see Cena develop, see Rey and Spanky in a Cruiser title match, (hopefully) see Angle rise to become the WWE's top guy, and perhaps even see Benoit get the push he deserves.

Raw may be improving, but the matches are still better on SD than on Raw. Hell, the Brock/Taker vs. Stamboli/Palumbo/Show match was better than almost all of Raw's matches lately.

RAW. SmackDown just doesn't fit into my life. I hardly watched it even when it first came out....

Plus RAW has Jericho, the only wrestler I even barely care about anymore.

Smackdown. I want to see Torrie get severely injured though, and something horrible happen to Sable and Stephanie.

I don't like hosses for the most part, but at least they are mostly sort-of wrestlers.

Right now, Raw.

Raw's bad shows have been few and far between since Backlash, while beside this past week, SD has been pretty boring lately.

Smackdown. A) Wrestlers I care about B) more matches that last long enough. Most of the raw matches fall under the category of filler, and exist simply to extend an angle

I don't know why people think Raw has "gotten better" as of late. If you ask me, it's as unspectacular as ever, it just hasn't had anything too offensive like necrophelia recently. To me, that is hardly getting better, it's just becoming more mediocre.

I'd have to go with RAW. I never really get to watch Smackdown, and RAW has a lot of guys that I enjoy, despite their not being popular on these message forums. I.E. Randy Orton, 3MW & Scott Steiner.

Smackdown has a lot of peeps that I like too, however, like I said before, I don't get to watch it that often. So, I kind of picked RAW by default. Besides, I don't dislike Triple H really...

Both are really bad shows recently (and RAW has not gotten much better, despite the opinions of the masses on this board), but I'd definitely go with Smackdown since the possibilities of wrestling matches being very good-excellent are much better than RAW's possibilities.

So, SmackDown!

RAW.

As bad as this sounds, the storylines on SD suck ass. The storylines are better on RAW.
