Yes, but the way JR said it, with his inflection, it leaned more toward the "happy distinction" instead of the sad one. I'm not accusing JR of being happy that Blassie died. Just felt he had a typical JR brain fart and chose what was probably not the most appropriate word, phrasing and inflection to use for the subject.
