Just about five minutes ago...My Father called me.

My father never really followed wrestling and never cared for it.

He called me and asked If I wanted to watch Badd Blood with him on Sunday.

I was stunned...I asked why?

He said... "Foley took some good shots and it looks pretty good"...

That was the first time my father ever asked to watch wrestling with me in my whole life because he wanted to...

wow. Who would've thought that a Match involving Kevin Nash on a RAW roster would get this hard headed man like my father interested and intrigued about the show...

Just Thank you Mick.

Fuck off Razor. I thought it was a nice story. My dad will only watch wrestling if I promise him nothing obscene will happen. This is why we haven't watched wrestling in years...

Who cares?

With that many posts (5) I don't think you should make such negative comments. You'll be tagged as a "gimmick poster" and banned.

My dad's two favorite wrestlers are Rick Steiner & Mic Foley. He's only watched wrestling two times in the last three years or so. The debut of Goldberg on WWE. And part of tonight's show when I told him Foley would be on there.

I bet it has more to do with the fact that its FATHERS DAY than the wrestling.

Some people (not too many in here but some) say HHH is a good wrestler. If I say I don't care about him, do people have the right to tell me to "fuck off"? Then how do you have the right to tell me to fuck off?

I doubt that sense he is a strong believer that it is a false holiday that only serves to make money for corporate companies.

I actually heard excitement when he said he thought the stuff with Foley was awesome and was sold.

It's not a right to tell you to fuck off, it's a privledge. so fuck off

The Foley stuff on Raw was definitely not awesome, Foley was way out of shape and was very slow when he was battling HHH in the ring. Not very entertaining. Also Foley is returning as a ref, what is so interesting about that? Your dad doesn't have very high standards.

Cause you were rude. All he did was tell a nice story about his dad and you wasted a post to say "who cares".

If you don't have anything to add to the thread then don't bother posting in it.

EDIT: Dammit that was my 6000th post!?

But why does everyone have to be entitled to feel good for him? What if some people don't get a rise off of seeing other people happy?

It was nice for him, but I don't feel any better from reading the story. So how was I being rude?

Uh..really. Its not really much of a holiday at all. You don't get off for it. You don't HAVE to buy your father (or mother for Mother's Day) anything, although a card is probably a good idea (so I guess the card companies are profiting!) Its supposedly just a day where you show your appreciation to one of the two people that brought you in to the world. There's nothing fake about that, unless you wanna tell me that you do that the other 364 days of the year..

I'll also add that I find nothing wrong with watching the PPV with your father. Its nice to share moments with your parents when ever possible..

And there's a difference between stating your opinion on a wrestler and just making a useless post to say you don't care about someone's story.

Stating your opinion brings something to the thread. Saying "who cares" to someone sharing a story doesn't bring anything to the thread. You don't like his story then stay out of the thread.

First of All...I don't give a fuck about your opinions and apparently either does anyone else here does.

You completely and not surprisingly missed the meaning of the post...I was Illustrating the impact that Foley's return did.

He created a Interest in a PPV that an 50 year old man whom doesn't follow the show was eager to see because of this confrontation.

I was thanking Mick for getting my father, even if it was just a glimmering second, to be interested in the thing I've loved and admired my whole life.

It's been a long time since I heard my father so interested in Wrestling.

I am sorry that it offended your higher excellence of being Mr. Razoredge...

Go ahead and educate us on our lack of intelligence and whatever may have you...

No one will be paying attention.

Would someone just ban razoredge450 already, he's obviously not going to be anything less than an ass here.

As a matter of fact, I'm willing to bet this guy IS Mr. Prime. Now, forget this fuck and let's move on...

...that's a great story Choken, thanks for sharing that.

People criticize things all the time, especially in here. So there is nothing wrong with me criticizing his story.

You weren't criticizing his story...you were trolling. I see no critique of his story. I see "who cares", which was utterly pointless.

If I went into every thread I don't care about and posted "who cares" I would be banned.

Naw it couldn't be the Prime guy. His name is RazorEdge and according to the rule of prime Scott Hall is well past this prime. So he wouldn't be a fan of him.

I know Prime very well, and he sounds exactly like the guy.

Let's just ignore him, and he'll go away or be banned and we'll all be happy.

I already talked about the meaning of your post earlier in this thread. Odd, on the show I watched Foley looked to be roughly twice as fast as HHH and, when he was lying prone on the canvas, he looked three times quicker than Nash. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I did critique his story. I explained why no one should care about someone else's dad getting closer to his son. Also I criticized the part where his dad is intrigued by Foley returning. He is just coming back as a ref, not exciting at all. The only thing that would be interesting is if a great match or a great storyline (if that's possible in WWE now) would bring a father and son closer, even though I wouldn't care about the father and son getting back together, it would be interesting.

That was a really good story Choken.
