Guest El Satanico Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 Get them from Ebay...it'll be cheaper. You can probably get 20 for less than stores sell ten pack for and then you'll have extras if you ever need them again.

I don't remember, but he e-mailed me and asked if I wanted it in DVD cases, he would send it on Thursday. If jewel cases were alright, he would send it on Monday. I wanted to get it ASAP, so jewel cases were fine by me. SOO, would FYE have them?

I would never own a copy of something I could just as easily own an original of. And no, he didn't get them at a good price. If they had actually been the originals, then maybe, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that these aren't original DVD's he was selling. The fact that he said they were region free DVD's should have given it away right there, not to mention his talk about labels and the like. No way I'd pay $44 plus s/h for fuckin' pirated DVD's. Mole, you got had. This guy should be reported to eBay, because what he's doing is completely illegal.

Season 4 comes out tomorrow, so season 7 won't come out till December 2004. I just wanted season 7 of Buffy in full. I don't care about the extras because I knew that wouldn't come out for a long time. I just wanted the episodes, which I got. There are menus, and shots of each episode. The DVD cover is really good quality, one of the best prints I've seen come off the computer. I have a really good photo printer, and it was better than that. Every episode is in good quality, except for one of them. Like I said, I could of gotten the DVD cases, but I went for the jewel cases.

I'm prolly one of the last guys who should say that since I'm no stranger to bootlegs on eBay, being suspended once myself for that very conviction. I just think it's wrong when sellers take big advantage of this and start making hundreds off of it. I see no real harm in making a few bucks from it, but this guy's into big time pirating now. Also, I didn't note the season of the set until now, so I thought you were bidding on something that was already out. At any rate, no way I'd pay that much for something that's fake, whether it's out or not.

Like everyone else, he will be caught eventually. $50 bucks is fine with me because it is my favorite show and I wanted all the episodes. I'm going to wait for season 5 and 6 until it comes out offically on DVD.

If you're selling bootlegs of official tapes and DVDs you'd be playing with fire that can burn you. Unless some company is losing money on the bootlegs no ones going to care that much. I mean if the feds were that concerned about such things we'd hear about raids on wrestling tape traders/vendors.

When they have extras they sell for 25¢ Go on uh..tuesday morning to Blockbuster, and go behind the building and do some dumpster diving, and you should be able to get all you want for free. Most BB's just throw the cases away (after employees get their share) because they have no room to store them and the new releases come in cases anyway. Of course if you're above diving in the dumpster for them, then I guess you could ask someone in the store, but they'll probably make you pay for em. Your choice.
