- Lance Storm was not happy at RAW last night. The women's match ran long, forcing WWE to cut time from his match with Scott Steiner. WWE cut out his entrance and largely made the match look like a squash.

Rico will be changing his character over the next few weeks. His new character will be a modern day version of the Exotic Adrian Street character. Jackie Gayda will play his version of Miss Linda. Rico actually met with the original Adrian Street and discussed the character with him.

Lance should be pissed. Thats bullshit. I understand puting certain guys in the ring and not showing their entrance, ex. Stevie Richards (sorry Yuna), Spike Dudley and even Chris Nowinski, but Lance? God, he's so above that. And putting him in a match with Steiner and making him look like a chump is unacceptable. Lance has a right to be upset. He could easily be Intercontinental Champion right now.

I liked him in ECW and what I saw of him in WCW.

his only real chance to shine was against edge at summerslam 2001, which was a DAMN fine match, and the second-best on the card if i recall correctly. storm gets a lot of shit around here for being pretty bland, but the man can work a match & the fed's given him exactly dick to work with.

The Unamericans wasn't a push given that it was a bad idea in the first place and the WWE didn't have enough balls to play the 9/11 card.

and the failure had EVERYTHING to do with storm and NOTHING to do with the fact that it was a dumb, shitty gimmick that never would've built credibility for anyone stuck in it.

as i said, the only time they really let him go was at summerslam. he performed quite handsomely, & they haven't given him the chance since.

Not really. They just haven't used him correctly. As much as WCW sucked towards the end, at least they figured out how to use Storm correctly.

 

Even though he did get some airtime as a tag team partner of Regal and Morley, he really didn't get any time to establish himself. He was just there following them. Hell, the way they were using him, they could have substituted Rosey and or Jamal and no one would have known. It's not Storm's fault.

That's why Storm's WCW character was great. As the boring, self absorbed Canadian, he's at his best. Anyone who ever saw him on Nitro discusing the values of the Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title know what I'm talking about

I can honestly say he'd be better off being released, and I say that because he gives the impression that he's one of the guys who would much rather be wrestling long matches on a daily basis then a guy who just makes a lot of money.
