Betty Houle Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I rarely play video games but HALO is one of the few games I've ever been addicted to. We need a HALO discussion!
Guest DVD Spree Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 Why the hell doesn't Halo have bots? It was cool hooking up a bunch of TVs at college, but two guys trying to deathmatch on their own... Halo just doesn't cut it. Sorry, just trying to pre-empt all the positive comments...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 I predict there will be more negative comments than positive ones anyway...since most people don't have an XBox. ...the bot thing drives me nuts too.
Betty Houle Posted June 12, 2003 Author Report Posted June 12, 2003 Man! HALO is one of the funnest multi-player games EVER! Nothing like hooking up 3 TVs and playing 6-on-6 CTF!
Guest Urine Sane Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 how can there not be a Halo thread? I'm sure there was one, November of 2001 when the game came out.
Betty Houle Posted June 12, 2003 Author Report Posted June 12, 2003 how can there not be a Halo thread? I'm sure there was one, November of 2001 when the game came out. Well, I wasn't on this board when the game first came out. I'm talking about the here-and-now!
Guest Lil Naitch Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 I never got the HALO love. It's just like any other FPS out there, with the exception of hooking up a copuple Xbox's and tvs. Whopdie-do.

Guest Vitamin X Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Isn't this the same gen that got Goldeneye though?
Guest DVD Spree Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Isn't this the same gen that got Goldeneye though? Not to be condescending, but he meant this generation of technology, not as in age generation.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Ah, I see. Eh, I've played both and for sheer multiplayer value, Goldeneye owns. Even though I do love my Xbox.
Guest redbaron51 Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 for like deathmatch and other multiplayer, you need a patch for halo to play online. but for two people, co-op, legendary...its just insane
Guest Nightscrawler Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 How can someone not like it? That game's awesome! I played it at my friends house and it ruled! Deathmatch is great with all the vehicles and co-op is really fun.
Guest Lethargic Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 You can play Halo online through Gamespy.com, you don't need a patch.
