Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 MWAHAHAHAHAHA~! The guy who can't get TNA gets to start up the thread~! WEEEE~! Yes people, I did this just for the credit of doing it. SUE ME~! ...no, don't really sue me. I'm broke, you'd never get a dime from me. Anyways, you guys enjoy the show... I'll just have to experience it via you guys and then Dames' Report... *sighs* So yah. Discuss the show here~! And yes, I know it's early, but meh. Why not, ya know?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 My preview is in my sig. The only real intrigue here is whether JArrett loses teh belt this week or next. He will lose it...oh yes.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 My feelings are that Jarrett loses the belt this week and it'd have to be to Raven. Raven's the guy that everyone's after and it would only make sense. Plus Styles would then be able to say that he didn't get the one on one match vs the Champion and thusly get a rematch against Raven one on one. Then, we have Jarrett wanting to get back into the title picture quickly and face D'Lo (or maybe we could get Truth back into the picture or even someone else) in a #1 contender's match. Of course, I'd have whoever faces Jarrett go over as this is supposed to be a new beginning. At least, that's what I'd do if I was in that situation.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Dave Sherer says there is a good surprise in the booking tonight that will be good, plus the hard 10 surprise guy is someone hardcore internet fans will like according to him. I still think it is Norman Smiley though.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 He will lose it...oh yes. For some reason...that made me picture you as Percy "Paul Bearer" Pringle, bps.

I still think it is Norman Smiley though. Here is a listing of possibilities of who the Hardcore Champion mentioned could be (this is a listing of possibles of former champions who can be there): 1) Norman Smiley 2) Brian Knobs 3) Bam Bam Bigelow 4) Evan Karagias 5) Terry Funk 6) Shane Douglas 7) Big Vito 8) Carl Oulette 9) Reno 10) Crowbar 11) Meng Now... If it's to possibly please the hardcore internet fans, I can't really think who. Possibly Douglas, Crowbar (a.k.a. Devon Storm), or maybe Carl Oulette. Anyone guess whom from that listing would be a good bet?
ChrisMWaters Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I still want to go with Evan. However, the only problem is when he was champ, he didn't hold the title by himself...as he held it with Shannon Moore and (then) "Sugar" Shane Helms.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Well, they did say he WAS a Hardcore Champion. TNA didn't say that he held the belt exclusively.
Adam Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Shane Douglas is a pretty high profile name guys, I am picking him.

I still think it is Norman Smiley though. I say it's Evan Kurageus ...what has Evan been doing since WCW folded anyway? Bitching about the fact that the WWE didnt give him a job. Actually they did, and all he did was bitch when he was shunted down to HWA with the rest of them. He probably would have been in the "cant work" cut, such as Skipper
Guest tpww7 Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I just ordered, TNA better deliver this week, they need to.
Guest tpww7 Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 THE REAL FBI! More over than the WWE's version.
Guest Devin Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 THE REAL FBI! More over than the WWE's version. The most over heel in wrestling.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 The hell is up with the Star Wars-esque music in this video package?
Guest tpww7 Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Anybody else feel that big WHIFF. D'lo sure did, sure wasent Julio's foot connecting.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Alexis rules, a whole lot.
Guest Devin Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 First a "Julio" chant, now a "D-Lo Sucks!" chant.
Guest dvkorn Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I am betting that this week main event will be a non finish and probably D'Lo will be added to the mix for the Anniversary show. And if thats the case, nobody would expect D'Lo to win. D'Lo is probably the most unlikely candidate to win it. Raven is probably the favourite, then Styles, then Jarrett then D'Lo. They may pull a swerve and give the belt to D'Lo which would be interesting. It's like at Vengeance when Jericho won the Undisputed Title, nobody expected him to win it. I think that is a possibility if they do the 4 way thing.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 The Asylum is no longer "Down With The Brown"
Guest Devin Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Trinity ain't got shit on Alexis. That tornado DDT ruled.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 If Raven can get Julio over by associations, then why can't HHH get Orton over?
ChrisMWaters Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 If Raven can get Julio over by associations, then why can't HHH get Orton over? Because HHH isn't over?
Guest Devin Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 Kid Kash vs. Eirk Watts, Goldylocks, and Trinity??? Should be sloptastic.
