Guest Zero_Cool Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 I may just watch the main event..seriously. Well, if I can find out what quarter hour Matt-Rey is on, I'll check that out too. The US Title should just be next weeks main event. Why not make it a one night tournament where they go like so... Eddie vs. Shelton Benjamin - Eddie wins.. Sean O'Haire vs. Spanky - Spanky gets his ass kicked but hits the sliced bread #2 out of nowhere. Spanky vs. Eddie - Spanky wins a ***-**** ten minute match. John Cena vs. Billy Gunn - Cena squashes Mr. Ass. Tajiri vs. Chris Benoit - Tajiri wins in a short bout, due to something happening that is completely out of Benoit's hands. Maybe a run-in and someone decks Tajiri..Rhyno? Cena vs. Tajiri - Cena wins in a decent match. Cena vs. Spanky - I'm not sure how this would work as a main event. But hey, give them ten minutes and let the exhausted Kendrick bleed and bump like a mofo, but have Cena not able to put him away. and then needs to hit the F-U off of the top rope or something when Spanky kicks out of the first one. I guess they could restart that feud, as it did look pretty promising. I like the idea, because the final four would make you think of whether you'd get Cena/Benoit II, Cena/Spanky II, or maybe even Eddie/Tajiri. You could fill out the rest of the show with the customary Mr. America/McMahon garbage, with some Sable/Steph..and maybe a Piper's Pit in the middle of the show, featuring someone in the tournament. Eh, I dunno...I'm bored. Half hour until it's on over here.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 12, 2003 Author Report Posted June 12, 2003 Spanky in a main event WOULD be interesting. But I'd kinda like Spanky to be in the Cruiser-division for a bit....build him up a bit more. Maybe replace Spanky with Rey Rey, who wants 2 Titles.
