Yes he did. Which gets me thinking you don't see many chests get as red as Tenzans over in the States. Mike Enos took a pounding though in their PPV match and acquired a super red chest.

 

Kawada and Hanson always struck me as being stiff in Japan. Hanson of course for not being able to see. As for Kawada Lance Storm mentioned something on his website about people he knew licking their wounds after wrestling Kawada.

There was a nitro match a few years back. I believe it was onthe spring break addittion as it was outdoors. Anyways, Benoit was wrestling Raven and he chopped him so hard throughout the match that Ravens chest was purple afterwards. He must have popped a blood vessel or something. At any rate it was quite brutal.

I exaggerate of course, but there's one particular match Savage had in Japan in NJPW that was supposed to be just utterly abysmal, and I was wondering if that was the one.

That's the match. The highlights of the match are Savage getting pissed that nobody is calling him "Macho Man". Savage threatening Masa Saito. Steiner holding Savage for Masa Saito to hit. Then to top it all off, when Steiner goes up top for the bulldog he falls off the top rope and lands on the floor.
