Guest treble charged Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Backstory: About 2 years ago, my best friend helped me get my current job. For this, I apparently owe him my life. Anyway, before I came back home from school for the summer, I put an application in for a job with the city, knowing that I would still have work at the place I worked at before if I didn't get the city job. A few weeks later, after I had started back working at the grocery store I work at now (the job my friend helped me get) I got called for an interview. Now, I didn't tell my friend, because I knew how he would react if I didn't get the job, but I did tell 2 people at work. One of those people (a butcher in the meat department that I work in) told him last Sunday, but my friend thought he was joking, so he asked me and I told him the truth. He didn't seem all that upset by it until Thursday night, when he sent me this ICQ message after I asked him why he was pissed at me: "Ok, I got you your job to be nice, and I'm the one who Gord alway's asks when you're coming back and I tell him, and he gives you hours during the holiday's, plus April-August, something nobody else gets. And then you try for another job and tell Al (the butcher) before you tell me, that was a stab in the back if I ever felt one." Now, I don't know why it took him so long to get mad (he says it's because of some medication tht he's on, but I don't know), but he said that I wasn't invited to his house to watch Bad Blood on Sunday (Yes, I know who childish that sounds). Anyway, fastforward to tonight, I asked him if I was still uninvited, and Mr. Maturity sent me this video clip (I guess he got a new webcam or something, I don't know [oh, and he doesn't really talk like that, either]). So, anyway, I have a spoiled brat of a best friend who thinks that he helped my get my job I am now required to take a bullet for him.
