Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Thanks to StillWellIndians.com: WWE RAW House Show Results From Tulsa, OK (6/14/03) Howard Finkle starts the show by welcoming everyone and introduces the National Anthem and Special Guest Ring Announcer for the first match, Stacy Keibler. 1st Match: Test vs. Scott Steiner. This was a great opening match with the 2 battling over Stacy. The crowd was strongly behind Big Poppa Pump. Winner: Scott Steiner. After the match, Steiner and Keibler did a "pose down" for all 4 sides of the ring. Steiner's physique is still amazing, and Stacy's legs, well...'nuff said. It was mainly Stacy doing the posing, which none of us guys didn't really mind. 2nd Match: Spike Dudley vs. Mark Jindrak Jindrak was shoving huge improvements since his days at WCW. It was good to see him back. The usual face in the match was Spike, who, as usual was fighting an uphill battle. The 2 had a good match together. In the end Spike put over Jindrak. Which the crowd hated because not many of them remember the former WCW tag-team champion. Winner: Mark Jindrak 3rd Match: Lance Storm vs. Lance Cade Cade was introduced simply as "Cade." This was the first time that I'd seen Cade in any capacity. He had the "baby face" look, which probably wouldn't have mattered, because the crowd hated Storm. USA chants erupted as soon as Storm's name was announced. There was great technical wrestling on Storm's part. Winner: Lance Storm The Fink then announces a person that needs no introduction in Oklahoma; Good Ol' JR. Coming to the ring with his tradition Oklahoma Sooners' fight song. JR basically thanked everyone for coming out, wishing happy birthday to a few folks as well as happy father's day. JR then put over BAD BLOOD on PPV. The crowd then breaks into a "BOOMER SOONER!" Chant. Thanks JR for everything! 4th Match: #1 contendership for the WWE Women's Championship Victoria w/ Steven Richards vs. Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly Trish is the overwhelming fan favorite though out the whole match, which is basically a handicap match for Trish. Victory & Molly worked on Trish thru out the match helping and teaming up against her, not to mention Richards on the outside. The women's division is something that's impressed me a lot over the last couple of months. This match was also something that WWE should be proud of. Winner: Trish Stratus (How can somebody be so cute and so sexy at the same time? Oh was that out loud?) 5th Match: The Dudley Boyz vs. Rodney Mack w/ Theodore Long & Christopher Nowinski One of the night's highlights. "WE WANT TABLES" & "TABLES!" chants throught out the match. The match went back and forth. The fans were strongly behind the Dudleys. Huge pops for "WASSSUP?!?" & "D-VON...GET THE TABLES!" Unfortunately, the Dudleys would lose the match after Nowinski uses his face protector to hit Buh Buh Ray before getting put thru the table. He then gets the pin. After the match, Mack & Nowinski keep on beating the Dudleys until Spike runs in for the save. Getting the Dudley dog on both Nowinski & Mack. Then Buh Buh & D-von put Mack thru the table. It was a spectacular spot, sorry you all missed it. Winners: Rodney Mack and Christopher Nowinski After the match, the 3 Dudleys then award a piece of the table to a kid from the audience, who they also brought into the ring and posed for pictures with. All photos taken by Spike by the way. It was great that they took the time to slap hands and acknowledge the fans as they left the arena. The Fink then announces the intermission and plugs WWE merchandise. 6th Match: Tommy Dreamer vs. Rico with Jacki Gayda Rico is definitely working into a Adrian Street type of character which the fans hated. This match was good match. Always cool to see Tommy Dreamer. Winner: Rico Now, tonight there was a special addition of "THE HIGH LIGHT REEL" with guest Val Venis. Chris Jericho got major heat by talking about the State of Oklahoma. The audio was terrible so it was hard to really make out what he or Venis were saying to each other. But basically, they insulted each other leading into the 2 hooking up. Venis was getting the best of Jericho, until Jericho started to attack Venis with a chair. At this moment, GOLDBERG's music start. Goldberg comes in and man handles Jericho. Ending it with a Spear. Jericho exits the arena. Goldberg then thanks the crowd for supporting him and WWE. He said he always love making a return to his home town and promised that the next time he was in Tulsa, we'd see more of him. He exits the ring and slaps a few hands as he worked his way over to me, my nephew, and my 6 year old cousin, AJ. he shook hands and picked my cousin up in the air and showed him to the crowd. He posed with for a picture while holding him up. Definitely the highlight of the night for us. Thank you Mr. Goldberg, you made our day! Goldberg then worked his way around and thanks everyone for coming out. We had second row seats, but thanks to an usher, the kids got to move up one row. 7th Match: Intercontinental Championship Match Booker T. Vs. Christian This was an awesome match. A match that you've come to expect from both Christian & Booker T. Winner: Christian, after using the ropes for leverage to get the pin. 8th Match: World Tag-Team Championship Match La Resistance vs. Rob Van Dam & Kane For the majority of the match RVD and Kane made La Resistance look like fools and sissies. But eventually, the Frenchmen started showing why they were with WWE. The match was great. I can't explain how RVD does what he does in the ring, you'd just have to see it to believe it. Winners: Kane & RVD It was a great show all around. Thank you to the WWE Superstars for everything. They were very fan friendly, and took the time to acknowledge the fans and kids. My nephew Tyler is 10, and cousin AJ, is 6, it was great to see their faces as they got to shake the Dudleys' & RVD's hands, not to mention being thrown in the air, one handed by Goldberg. The athleticism of the Superstars, not to mention seeing the Divas in person. I'm still in awe of everyone, and I've been to at least 40 live WWE & WCW events. I apologize for this report being so quick and informal. But I was enjoying the show to much to notes. It's kinda sad that some of us "marks" would sit there in a front row seat with a pen and note pad taking notes through out the whole show, barely cracking a smile or anything. These men and women are there to entertain us, not have us sit and analyze everything they do. You can still be an internet mark and enjoy the show, I'm proof of that. Thanks WWE for everything! Match 6: Fatal Fourway for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jamie Noble vs. Ultimo Dragon. Jamie Noble eliminated Ultimo Dragon with a Tiger Bomb. Matt Hardy eliminated Noble with the Twist of Fate. Mysterio eliminated Hardy with a top rope huracanrana. Rey Mysterio retains the Cruiserweight Title. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Huh? Thought goldberg was from Atlanta... He was born and raised in Tulsa. He considers Atlanta his "other home", because he began playing professional football there, until he moved on to the wrestling scene in WCW. Rock also has this connection with Hawaii & Miami.
