Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted June 17, 2003 WWE got some good news with this week's edition of Raw as they once again broke the 4.0 barrier. This week's show did a 4.1 cable rating, with a 6.6 share. The show did hours of 3.8 and 4.3 and was up from last week's 3.5. 1wrestling.com Good. I thought it was a pretty decent show. Guest JRE Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Good news. They announced a solid main event for next week that can hopefully hook a lot of that 4.3 back.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted June 17, 2003 The RAW after a PPV almost always gets a higher than normal rating. Let's see them do this level for more than one week in a row.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Once again, up and down the rating goes, where it stops nobody knows. This is good news though. Now we just need it to become constant. It keeps going up and down up and down every week. As for the "it's just because it's after a PPV"... ...isn't this one of the only times in the past few months that the RAW after a PPV has went up that much? The Dames 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Honestly, I don't understand it. Downhome, why do you think that higher ratings equals good news for you? They are still putting on the same subpar programming. Higher ratings doesn't equal a better show. Dames
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Next Week should get 4.5 since it's RARE that an TV match ever gets such an hype job with so much on the line... I remember seeing a few weeks ago a ratings evulation saying that KANE was a bigger ratings draw then Austin and HBK and Jericho.. So with Kane getting a Main event world title TV match...Ratings OUGHTA be high.. I will attribute this higher ratings increase to Mick Foley...and to the POST-PPV reason... Guest Goodear Report post Posted June 17, 2003 I blame the whole Monday Night Wars for all this ratings talk. I want a good show and don't really care if 14 or 454,646,313,212 people watch with me. All this draw talk makes me want to bop myself in the head repeatedly.

Still, I enjoyed RAW last night. It wasn't anything all that special, but it was better than it has been in my eyes. It was average, which is a lot better than below average, which is what it's been here lately.

Low ratings means get more desperate. Pick your poison.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted June 17, 2003 if WWE isn't competing with any other wrestling programming, do the ratings mean shit???!!!!!!!

Guest Downhome Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Back to my opinion of RAW, I disliked plenty on the show, but I still enjoyed it as a whole. The only thing that I hated with a passion, was that Austin/Storm shit. As a matter of fact, Austin is very quickly becoming my least favorite part of Pro. Wrestling period. I despise almost everything he does now, except for the cheap laugh I get out of him now and then. It's sad to see the guy become what he is now.
Bored 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2003 I would like propose that all topics on ratings should be closed immediately after they are started. Until the ratings go back over 5.0 on a regular basis or sink to Nitro levels of 2.5 and below or untill WWE has some direct competition, I don't give a shit about the ratings and neither should any of you. Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 17, 2003 Will the big red machine lose his mask or get the championship? Will this lead to something big at the next PPV or be forgotten in a few weeks? Too bad the writers used all their brain cells on the main event, will anything get developed for the midcard other than the "BORING" Lance Storm angle? Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted June 17, 2003 The only good parts were the opening segment, the Gail promo, and BookBerg vs. Canadian Chrises (Yeah, even with Fuck Goldberg in the match). The rest of the show blew ass.
