Goldberg's temper kills him again!

Recommended Posts

Geez..........HHH vs. Foley might be one of the most one sided fueds ever.  The only time i remember Foley beating him was at Raw in 97 when he broke out the Cactus JAck character for MSG.  Besides that its been all HHH

Don't forget Austin was NEVER pinned by Rock until WMXIX.

Rock pinned Austin at Survivor Series 2001 in the Winner Take All Match.

OK...never pinned CLEANLY.

Who cares what the marks think? I know I don't, maybe they should get online and get the real story, instead of sitting there being ignorant wrestling fans.

It's pretty simple:

WCW Goldberg would have deserved the Raw title, because he'd be super over and drawing money.

WWE Goldberg-lite has been portrayed as just another big guy, who has great presence, but can't make money, and so isn't seen as deserving the title.

WCW Goldberg would get no heat from WWE crowds except for the occasional "shave your chest" chant.

They tried the Goldberg thing with Lesnar, and he got no heat until he dropped it, remember?

If Goldberg between now and SummerSlam agrees to work house shows, then yes, I can justify giving him the title... but I don't see that happening, so no I don't believe a champion that doesn't work house shows should carry the company as champion. Therefor, I think they should go with HHH vs. Foley

I know it will never happen, but giving the title to Foley would be a good way to begin a new chapter for the title.

Foley wins the belt, and the next night on Raw announces that b/c he's retired, he's giving the belt up. HHH comes to the ring and expects Foley just to give him the belt. But Foley says that just being handed the belt was bullshit when Bischoff did it and it would be bullshit now. So, the title is vacant. Austin and Bischoff declare a tournament to decide the new champ.

And, yes, I know that we've had too many tournaments lately, but it would at least be better than HHH's reign of boredom, I mean terror.

I agree, if Foley vs. HHH is headlining Summerslam for Raw, Foley will win the title and then retire again the next night, and setting up a tournament for the Raw PPV Unforgiven. HHH gets screwed in the semi's, Goldberg wins the title and HHH gets the title back at Survivor Series. If that happens, then HHH is a genius.

That scenario (Foley wins, retires the next night, title on the line in a tourney) is actually a form of pyschology...because that's what everyone thought was going to happen between Mania 16 & Backlash 2000.

If that makes any sense.

Here in Salt Lake City, Goldberg is being advertised to be working against Triple H for the next house show here...

- Goldberg will be facing Chris Jericho in a rematch at SummerSlam instead of Triple H for the World Title. This is punishment for Goldberg blowing up backstage at Linda McMahon's comments about him being a disappointment recently.

Ouch. A match with Jericho is now considered punishment.

If Goldberg went tweener, he'd be a better candidate. It's obvious the smarks want to boo him ad naeusem, and it's obvious that there are still 'peeps' in the crowd who still cheer for the big moves and still get the Goldberg chants started up. They nearly did it after Backlash, where Goldberg said he doesn't care if people cheer or boo him. They need to go with that, and basically have Goldberg do what he does now. Laugh at the boos, smile at the cheers.

Oh, and I still think HHH wants to go agaisnt Goldberg so the crowd will start a Triple H chant like they did with Jericho
