Guest Blue Bacchus Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 Here's to it being a great show and I hope all of you who order it enjoy it. And if you see a fat kid in the front row with a blue/white hawaiian t-shirt, I'm sorry Enjoy the show tonight guys!
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 ... A few years from now, we may look back on this day and see where everything began, how a few men with guts took on the giant and slayed it, and that we were there, with a hella well respected reviewer topping their list... Yesterday, as Eric on 411 said, TNA briefly declared war. Well, this is the time. There is more riding on tonight and the direction of NWA-TNA and the state of wrestling in general tonight than in any other night in recent memory. The last time we had this was Russo's creation in WCW, the last time anyone had guts. It's funny, the time before that, was Russo having guts too...Love him or hate him, he's got cajones. There's alot riding on tonight. Mr. Damian Gonzalez, pay attention to what happens tonight. Be honest, be brutal, but be hopeful. Their eye was on you at one point, and I bet that, in a few years, it could be again... For all the indy boys that bust their chops, TNA represents chances to showcase them. I remember talking for a spell with David Young back in December, a very hungry man telling me "Man, I sure hope they give me a chance...I can get over, I know it" Well he did, for all that its worth, he did. For each of us that believes in the "old" style, for those who remember tradition, who remember wrestling, and remember when it was just a local thing.. There is alot riding on how they set themselves up. For everyone who ever once thought or read or dreamed of success, TNA is on the verge, the very verge where success and failure are neighbors by only a tiny strand of wire. Here's to tonite...I can't wait to see everyone's reactions.
Guest tpww7 Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 20 Mins left till the show starts, I'm guessing the show will start off with the 6 man or Lynn-Credible. They should put on an opener to get the crowd real hot to start.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 That was a little dramatic that was the point 2 bucks right here says itll be the 6 man
