Guest Cerebus Posted June 19, 2003 Report Posted June 19, 2003 I read this on Rajahwwf.com's mailbag and Aree (the responder) didn't know the answer I was wondering if someone out there in TSM land did... I don't have many detaiIs, but maybe someone will know what I'm talking about and can answer my question. This is how I remember it: Years back, around the mid-90's, on Raw is War, Jerry Lawler was in the back, for some reason. Maybe he was doing an interview, I don't know. As Raw was supposed to be cutting to a commercial break, the cameraman set the camera down in front of Lawler, but it kept rolling. I remember, because of this, the audience ended up hearing comments made by Lawler that weren't meant to be heard. After about a minute or two, I guess the technical crew realized the camera was still rolling, and immediately cut the feed and went to commercials. When Raw came back from commercial break, Lawler broke out of character, and made a public apology to the audience. What was Lawler saying that the audience wasn't supposed to hear?
NYU Posted June 19, 2003 Report Posted June 19, 2003 It was an angle. This was around the time Paul Bearer said he was screwing the Undertaker's mother. Lawler was in the back interviewing him and they stopped the interview so they could cut to a commercial. The camera was put on the floor, but Lawler kept talking with Bearer. Bearer talked about some details, Taker's mom being a slut, etc. until the camera was finally shut off. Then, when they came back from commercial, Lawler apologized in front of everybody and said he was sorry for all the graphic details. It was an angle made to show some of the details of the Bearer/Taker's mom situation, and to make Bearer seem like more of a scumbag.

From What I heard the girl who sued was a HUGE wrestling fan and went to the shows in Memphis, but her boyfriend HATED wrestling with a passion and got jealous that she spent more times at shows thn with him, so he forced her to admit to fucking the wrestlers(she said so out of fear) and a lawsuit followed, that was later droped because what I just said got revealed to the court.

There was a moment on Raw a couple of months back where Lawler was really hyper about Stacy, who is only 22 or 23 right now, I believe. J.R. said something along the lines with: "I'm surprised King, she's a little too old for you." Dames
