Theories on how the austin situation ends

Theory 1:

 

Austin returns and joins the Raw roster while the NWO is shipped off to Smackdown with Kurt Angle, Jericho, and perhaps Chris Benoit joining the Raw roster and providing Austin with someone to feud with

 

Theory 2.0:

 

Austin returns and joins the Raw roster but the NWO stay, with Austin's reward being Triple H being forced to turned heel and feud with Austin exclusively.

 

Theory 2.1:

 

Austin returns and joins the Raw roster but the NWO stay as Austin is bribed by Vince with promises of better times in the future if he becomes a team player and continues his feud with the NWO.

 

Theory 2.2

 

Austin returns and joins the Raw roster but the NWO stay, with Austin reviving his feud with Booker T or any other member of the Raw roster not associated with the NWO.

 

Theory 3

 

Austin returns but goes to Smackdown, away from the NWO. Triple H unofficially becomes a part of the Raw roster with the bribe given him of 1. A long title reign and 2. Monthly highly promoted matchs with the top guys on the Smackdown roster that end up jobbing to him in highly dubious matches....

theory 4: Vince realizes he can't let a wrestler dictate to him how he runs his company and fires austin.

*sigh*  As much as I hate to say it, I'd wager on Theory 3, given all the crazy politicking going on that we can only speculate about.

I'll say theory 1, but I could see theory 3 happening.

#1 would be the best choice, it would allow Austin to feud with talented to people. He wanted to have a match with Benoit. This is probably what Austin would like the most.

I could see #3 happening. It's the best compromise. Austin doesn't interact with Hogan (assuming a trade) the NWO, or HHH.
