Guest HBK16 Report post Posted June 20, 2003 First Flyboy then Kotz, now me!! Thats right a car accident. Not in my Escalade though thank God. It was in my dad's old car, Civic. I was making a left turn, stopped at the light to let someone else go and did my left turn and a car hit me on the passenger side. it was of course my fault. The whole passenger side is gone to hell. The front and back door went in about 8 inches. My girlfriend was in the front passenger and amazingly only got a scaratch on her elbow. The police, AAA and the lady who hit me were in disbelief. I wasnt injured. The car got toed to my parent's house. At that time I was pissed not mainlu cuz I crashed but because I did something that could have seriously injured my girlfriend and right now very hard for me to deal with it. If my girlfriend was hurt I dont know what I would have done. I dont think I would be here right now. The only injury I have to me is a few stitches to my hand. When the car was at my parents house, I was just examing it, got pissed off, punched right through the windshield. Fucked up my hand pretty bad. I am going to get pictures of it really soon. I was going to Hollywood video, and before Hollywood video there's this road that leads you out of a Bank's drive thru. Suddenly, this assfuck decides to not stop at the place before it merges to the main road because they're looking at their checkbook. I had to swerve to avoid hitting this bitch, and I honked my horn like mad. I also suck at backing out of things, so I almost hit a parked car doing that today. It sucked. "but they were speeding!" is what the driver of the hit car normally defends with. But you still put your vehicle in their way, and thus it's your fault. So, I have no remorse or sympathy -- hopefully the driver of the car that smacked yours is a poster and we can get their side of the story. And having said all that, I'm glad no one got hurt. I needed to vent and that was the only thing there that I can smash. Yeah I wasnt thinking but when I could have seriously hurt my girlfriend cuz I was careless I tend to get a little mad. So sue me. nl5xsk1- I didnt say it wasnt my fault and I dont need someone to tell me it was mine. I know well enough that it was my fault. As for her speeding, I dont think she was. Came close once when my GMC Jimmy blew up on the interstate during whiteout conditions and I went up on a snowbank. And then my mom hit a pregnant deer with my car. Knocked the baby right out of it.
