Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Jim Ross was on Z103.FM this afternoon with host Tony Monaco. During the interview, JR said that Brock Lesnar was injured during a boating accident this week where he fell off the boat and his leg hit the propeller. He will definitely miss the big appearance at Niagara Falls in Toronto this weekend. It is unknown whether or not he will be able to wrestle on next week's edition of Smackdown. 1wrestling.com
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 What a strange way to injure yourself... Anyways, I hope it's not too serious.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 i didnt mean to hit da propella george
Guest Anglesault Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 First person to make a Zach Gowan joke gets locked in a room with Bradshaw
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Had it been Zach, there wouldn't have been a leg to hurt. So I don't see the connection.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Oooh, they could have a wheelchair fight!
Guest the pinjockey Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 He is a lucky guy. Dimitri Tertyshny, a Flyers defensemen, died a few years ago when he fell off a boat and hit the propeller.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Oooh, they could have a wheelchair fight! *southpark reference* CRIPPLE FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 *fight is over* *both men lay beaten atop each other* *Vince Mcmahon steps in* "Ok guys, break it up."
Guest sean pyro Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 they have an update on 1gee.. Here is more information on Brock Lesnar's injury. Lesnar stayed with friends in San Antonio, TX this week after Smackdown because he was scheduled to see a doctor there about his injured rib, which has been bothering him for months now. He was out on the water with friends while he was there and he fell out of the boat he was in. His leg hit the propeller and sliced open a cut about three inches long and an inch deep in his leg, behind his knee. He was taken for medical attention and received numerous stitches. He woke up today and his knee was really swollen. It's not known if he will be able to wrestle at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday for Smackdown at this time. But, it should be noted that from what I heard, despite an injury that maim most people, Brock has refused pain medicine. The guy truly is a monster. damn.
Guest Choken One Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 WWE can't win can they? Guess that means Lesnar stands on the Apron for The Six and Man Angle works the entire match for the Cripple and The Dead.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Jesus christ....what a shitty year for Brock when it comes to getting hurt...his rib, the injury at Mania after the SSP, and now almost losing his leg. Yikes.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 I must be in the mood to plug Benoit (see Foley thread), but it would be a perfect chance for the WWE to regain my faith in Benoit if they give him the slot if Brock can't go. MSG can easily make Benoit extremely over again as a face and he'll get the rub off of Hogan as well.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 No pain medication? Fuck. I'd be taking as many hydrocodones as I could. Of course, if I see him do the happy dance on Smackdown next week, he's the new god of the moment.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 What does this mean fdor Vengeance? No world title defense on the 1st Smackdown only PPV?

Guest Choken One Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 Amazing...Angle gets healed and what Happens? LESNAR gets hurt... Is this setting up for the GREATEST unmentioned storyline for WMXX or WHAT? I would mark if they say Lesnar hurt his leg in the Vengence PPV and milked the whole "Both fought through injuries in the first two classics...This time...they are healthy and intend to BLOW those matches away" sell for XX...
Guest bob_barron Posted June 20, 2003 Report Posted June 20, 2003 FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK I hope Lesnar can wrestle in the 6 man on Tuesday- I was REALLY looking forward to that
Guest Nanks Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Sounds to me as if he's come out of that UNBELIEVABLY well. Wouldn't surprise me if the beast totalled the boat's engine!! Just watch him work next Tuesday. They'll surely pull him from house shows til then. And when he works MSG, if everyone here doesn't bow down....... *shakes fist*
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 i didnt mean to hit da propella george nice.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 I wish Blassie was still around. Both guys could have a Wheelchair Race in the main event of SmackDown.
Guest DarkHollywood Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 I wish Blassie was still around. Both guys could have a Wheelchair Race in the main event of SmackDown. Thats cold..and extremely funny. Throw in Droz for a triple threat!

I thought it was a given that HHH was squashing Brock at WMXX

Guest Jobber of the Week Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Thats cold..and extremely funny. Throw in Droz for a triple threat! I thought Droz can't move below the neck? I was just thinking that it'd be gold. You could have Blassie so caught up in the competition that he becomes the Hollywood Fashion Plate again and turns heel for just one night. Imagine the video matchup screen with 3D computerized wheelchairs spinning in the background and a video animation where Blassie grabs his cane and shakes it at the Brock animation. And besides, if Freddie called Brock a pencil-neck geek, I'd fall out of my chair laughing with tears in my eyes. *sigh* .... ... THIS IS WHY I NEED TO BOOK WWE, PEOPLE!
