With the recent rash of these types of movies coming out I thought I'd put up this poll for discussion.

I had to say the HULK. The story was so compelling, like no other adaptation so far. Not to mention the effects were fucking amazing.

No Daredevil? :P

My choice is X-Men 2, even though it dragged a bit in the last 20 minutes.

I haven't seen Hulk though.

X2. Hulk had a good, compelling psychological arc and I was really satisfied with it, but X2 was very much X-Men come to life. It's kept with the serial nature of comics, it's kept the political slant of X-Men comics, had good charater development for just about everyone, and had action in the right places.

X2 got it right. Spidey and Hulk would be a close second.

The Crow is just badass.

Tough call. It's either X-Men or X2 for me, easily, but tough to pick. The first had an incredible musical score and what I'd argue was a better script, but also weak villains in Sabretooth and Toad, and a horrid affectation of a perfomance from Halle Berry. The second was more balanced...it's a tough call. Having seen 'em both again recently, I think I'm going to vote X2 by the tiniest of margins.

I thought ALL of the live-action Batman movies sucked. I voted for Spider-Man.

I say Spiderman for story, but Hulk for the way it was presented. Very much like a comic book

Sorry for forgetting the Crow and Daredeveil. I was at a loss and couldn't remember anymore.

SpiderMan is winning, surprisingly.

It's not surprising to me. Here is how I would rank the movies from best to worse:

Spider-Man: THE greatest comic book movie ever.

Superman: A great movie in its own right.

X-2: Much better than the original.

X-Men: A good movie, but the sequel was better.

Hulk: Good, but not the greatest.

Blade: An OK movie. It isn't a typical super-hero movie so it's unfair to compare it to the rest.

Spawn: Not really that interesting or inspired.

Batman: A crappy adaptation. Keaton had no muscles and could barely move in the costume. It was also around the time Jack was being typecast. Not to mention the guy from Arliss was in the movie.

To me, it comes down to Spider-Man and Superman. All the others have flaws that keep them away from these two. And since I like Spidey better as a character (and thought the movie was better, plus didn't feature a completely ridiculous ending), I have to give the nod to Spider-Man.

Spiderman. Toby was born to play that role (Really, Stan Lee geneticly-engineered him decades ago to one day play Peter Parker.)

Daredevil doesn't deserve to be anywhere near this list for good goddamn reason. I'd go with Superman myself...that is, until Hellboy comes out.

I can't stand Spider-Man.

Superman is so much better than Spider-Man.

Spider-Man would get a negative rating...and therefore I cannot put into word how many times better Superman is without creating a bigger negative number.

Everyone who likes Spider-Man is dumb.

I hate to be so blunt...but that is the only explanation that can exist at this point.

X2. I haven't seen "Hulk", nor do I want to. Sure, the CG-On-Steroids is amazing, but it just seems like a summer popcorn flick to me.

Spider-Man was okay, but I'm a bigger fan of the X-Men franchise.

I am shocked, SHOCKED that Captain America isn't on there. Matt Salinger, Ned Beatty and an Italian Red Skull? Gold, I tells ya!! [/sarcasm]

**cough, cough**THE CROW**cough, cough**

Seriously. You put Spawn up there, but not The Crow?! For my money, The Crow is not only the most true-to-material comic adaptation, but also the best pure MOVIE out of the superhero genre.

Right now my favorite is Spider-Man, with X2 a close second. I haven't seen Hulk yet, so who knows if I'll change my mind

I guess 44% of us are idiots then.

Seriously, why do people make such a big deal about movies? It's just a matter of taste. I didn't like the Hulk, but I don't think that those who did enjoy it were morons.

Probably has something to do with the plot itself not being moronic.

Btw, GTD rules. People hate on the first Batman SO much, but it was awesome for what it was.
