Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 23, 2003 Mick Foley is confirmed for RAW tonight. This will be his last appearance on the show for at least the time being. He'll be in and out for the next several months while he promotes his book. Still no word on whether Terry Funk will be on RAW tonight. WWE has a segment lined up for him if he chooses to take it. La Resistance will now enter the ring before every match and sing the French-Canadian National anthem. USA Today is planning a story for tomorrow on Zach Gowen's WWE debut. Hulk Hogan was on Bubba the Love's show this morning. Hogan said to Bubba, "I have to perform at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday." Bubba noted: "You mean Mr. America is performing on Tuesday." Hogan said, "Yeah, okay."

Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2003 La Resistance will now enter the ring before every match and sing the French-Canadian National anthem. Wow, I wonder where they got that idea from. I'm going to learn the words and sing along with them if WWE comes back to Seattle sometime soon.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted June 23, 2003 If they do this right Seriously though. Anyway [/TSM]. Still gonna be generic heel foreigners for 2k3.
Guest JMA Report post Posted June 23, 2003 So, are they finally admitting La Resistance is French-Canadian?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2003 So, are they finally admitting La Resistance is French-Canadian? Thus klling their gimmick cause JR kept shilling that they hate Canadians & Americans equally. But that's a good way to generate. I used to love seeing Nikolai Volkofff NEVER get to the end of the Russian anthem.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted June 23, 2003 La Resistance will now enter the ring before every match and sing the French-Canadian National anthem. Huh? There is no "French-Canadian National anthem", unless they meant 1. French anthem 2. Canadian anthem sung in French
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 23, 2003 Does Quebec have something other than what the restf Canada does? Yes, Quebec being in Canada pretty much covers my knowledge on that topic
Guest JMA Report post Posted June 23, 2003 Anyone remember when Nikolai Volkoff became an "American Sympathizer"? Gold.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted June 24, 2003 They should be like John Cena and wear Quebec Nordiques throwback sweaters. BTW they're ripping off the Amazing French-Canadians, aka The Quebecers in WCW, sans RCMP uniforms. Quebecer question: were Pierre and Carl Oulette the same guy? Because the original Quebecer That Wasn't Jacques never had an eyepatch.

There is no "French-Canadian National anthem", unless they meant 1. French anthem 2. Canadian anthem sung in French Well, really, it's a whole separate anthem...words are totally different; just the music is the same. Here are the lyrics...sing along with Sylvain and Rene tonight: O Canada! Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted June 24, 2003 Thanks Chris! I think that's a nice touch. Now they should write a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner in Appalachian.

And yes, Pierre Ouellete and Carl Ouellete were the same guy.

And yes, Pierre Ouellete and Carl Ouellete were the same guy. Yeah nothing's cooler than powder blue. Not even Whalers blue and green. That's odd, because he never had the eyepatch with the original Quebecers, and he looks less greasy and fat. And some interview on Canoe says he's had the patch his whole life, but on the 1994 tapes, I see no patch.

Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted June 24, 2003 Now all they need is Johnny Polo to come back and manage. Man, he ruled with the Quebecers...I remember a title match against the Steiners when he came out with a Canadiens jersey that read on the back, "We are the Quebecers Jacques and Pierre and I am Johnny."
