Astro101 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 TRIPLE X VS AMERICA'S MOST WANTED CAGE MATCH FOR THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES America's Most Wanted has never beaten Triple X, but every previous match has ended in controversial fashion and with interference from the third member of Triple X. This week the two teams face each other in TNA's first ever Cage Match and they'll settle things two on two. Can AMW get the belts back? Will Triple X continue their streak against Harris & Storm? Find out Wednesday night! CHRIS SABIN VS FRANKIE KAZARIAN X DIVISION CHALLENGE MATCH Both men call themselves "The Future" and they have both asked for this match. The X Title isn't on the line, only pride. This one could steal the show! JERRY LYNN VS JUSTIN CREDIBLE "LIGHTS OUT MATCH" Justin Credible scored a quick win over Jerry Lynn last week, but these two are more concerned with getting a chance to pound away at each other than to score a pinfall. This week they face off in a "lights out" match that is not sanctioned by the NWA or TNA. SONNY SIAKI VS SANDMAN HARD 10 SEMIFINAL Sandman would seem to have the advantage in this one because of his extensive experience in hardcore style matches. Siaki has managed to survive in this tournament somehow, but this match will be a good indication of how hardcore he really is. ERIK WATTS VS KID KASH GRUDGE MATCH Kid Kash has managed to outsmart Watts lately with help from his Cage Monster friend. Watts will be out for revenge after what happened to Goldylocks last week, and will be looking to teach Kash a lesson this week. ALSO ON THE SHOW.... Sports Entertainment Xtreme vows to unmask Shark Boy; Find out what (or who) is behind Shane Douglas' attacks on Raven; Plus more great Total Nonstop Action from the stars of TNA. ALL THIS WEDNESDAY ON PAY-PER-VIEW!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------- X division match and tag match should be awesome. Hard 10-meh...Credible/Lynn I'm guessing is going to be longer than last week (it has to be). Kash and Watts should be interesting due to the styles and size difference...I'm not saying good just yet, but interesting. SEX vows to take off Sharkboy's mask...could be funny if done right.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Three should be good matches. I don't know what they'll use as the main event though...given the previous thread about the cage match
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Cage match and X division already makes it a show to watch, plus Borash mentioned some major announcement plus they might air some of that Sting interview footage...
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 SEX vows to unmask Shark Boy? TNA is stealing from WWE now. Hopefully they don't succeed or if they do it is something funny like he has another shark mask underneath.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 They should have SEX barge into the New Jack/Shark Boy dressing room, and find some unknown nobody there. Then "Shark Boy" walks in, but it's New Jack with the mask on, and he stands there perplexed as to why SEX barged in. Of course the random dude in the room would actually be Shark Boy, but no one would know that.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 They should send in the Harris Boys to do it. And then New Jack should kill them. End segment...justifiable homicide count +2
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Damn it, where is London vs. Punk?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 hmm...most people would ask... where are Styles, Raven, Jarrett, D-Lo, Sting and Douglas. The entire heavyweight division is unbooked.
Guest Nanks Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I'll be bitterly disappointed if we don't get more development on the CM Punk trying to get into The Gathering story. I love this story already. I'd like to see him interact with Julio & Alexis a little first though, kinda work his way up to meeting Raven.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 SEX vows to unmask Shark Boy? TNA is stealing from WWE now. Actually, I think that's a pretty funny dig at the WWE's current storyline with Kane.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 the shark boy segment will be good........if Russo doesn't book it.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 the shark boy segment will be good........if Russo doesn't book it. Oh, you KNOW he's going to do something to piss us off, because other than last week's anniversary show, TNA is almost like a copy of WWE.
Guest Nevermortal Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I think its funny that in nearly every other indy in America, Punk wants to KILL Raven, yet on TNA, he wants to BE Raven.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 The Shark Boy segment has potential to be hilarious. You KNOW it's going to be a spinoff of Kane.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Here's my Un-official preview: http://thesmartmarks.com/artman/publish/ar...ticle_994.shtml
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Not to be an asshole or anything Bryan, but the X-Match isn't for the title.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 One question...how many times is Vic Venom going to appear on the show? [Wonders how many people who remember the Sunny-Era livewire shows will get that.]
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I think enough of us read (past tense) WWF Magazine...
ChrisMWaters Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I think enough of us read (past tense) WWF Magazine... Heh...OK. I remember when I first heard Russo during the whole original "Powers That Be" storyline in WCW, screaming VIC VENOM! when I heard the voice...remembering that episode of Live Wire..
Guest DRAWMUH! Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 The CM Punk/Raven thing of this year is like Jerry Lynn/AJ Styles last year. I think they just have great chemistry and the veterns believe the kids have great potential and are helping them out while having great matches themselves at the same time. And AJ/Jerry were also a tag team in TNA at the start too.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 The Sting interview is being held off until July 2nd's show to give them a week to hype it. He does the interview without his makeup on.
