Recommended Posts

Guest HBK16

Im going to go see it Sunday. I was gonna go Friday but the person I was gonna go with sold me out to go see Charlie's Angles with her friend. Then today, me and my girlfriend went to see her little brother dirt bike. I have been really upset that I havent seen it yet. I have been waiting for a while now. So Sunday is the day.

I agree on the soundtrack aspect....the whole "acapella" zombie-killing thing is just awesome, plus the use of acoustic guitars and haunting vocals in the closing of the movie puts it over the top.

Horror films can be examinations of human nature as well. Don't let the slasher films make you forget that. George Romero's entire career has been making horror films that not only please the hardcore horror fans, but also exam human nature. Night Of The Living Dead was about human relations under stress, Dawn Of The Dead was about how people go to malls like zombies, and Day Of The Dead was about...well, it basically said don't trust the military. Haha.

SweetNSexy, if the usage of digital camera over actual film is all that's stopping you...smack yourself in the head and spend the $9. It's worth EVERY penny. I can't even remember the last movie, besides X2, that I could say that about.

The digital camera also gives it a more realistic feel to it, like it's a documentary... which works soooooo well.

Did they use a digi for 28 Days Later? Man, it looked like old school, all natural grain to me.
