Memorable s.n.a.f.u. moments

I dunno if this counts as a SNAFU but when Dr. Death made one of his few appearances in WCW and threw around I believe 6 cruisers like they were AJPW heavyweights injuring EVERY SINGLE ONE including IWJP Jr. champ Juvi. It was truly horrific in many ways.

And hey, whoever has that Bad Taste icon, I was totally waiting for the director of Bad Taste to win an Oscar, but he didn;t so fuck them

You guys remember the 6 way Crusierweight match @ Superbrawl's Revenge? That was HORRIBLE. The ref got legitally knocked out by a spinning kick from Kaz. People no sold most of the stuff and the same thing with the Hardys at RR 2001 happened to Yang from Jamie Noble, I believe.

This may be one of my crack addict moments, but I swear I remember it happening, and I remember it being on Raw.

Steve Austin was in the ring doing his stunner after stunner house cleaning bit. I swear I saw him go for a stunner on a referee but the guy was quite a few feet out of position. Austin pulled to move on the 'phantom opponent' and the referee (who had not been touched) sold it anyway.

Are you talking about the Stunner to Vince on Raw during the Vince/Shane Street Fight rematch from WM when Angle joined the Alliance? That's as close as I can think of to your description. If not, I would check it out. It's the worst stunner ever done.

The Raw in 99 when Taker had the Ministry punish Christian for giving up Stephanie's whereabouts.

The WWF had done so much talk about how it was a symbol and not a cross. So Undertaker grabs Christian, tosses him to the side and says "Put him on the Cross........I mean put him on the Symbol." You have to listen real close and you'll hear it.

I remember the Cross...symbol thing.

What I never understood is why when Shamrock had Christian in the anklelock, Christian just wouldn't gove him the wrong location.

I don't know if this was a work or not but I remember reading that Brian Pillman was fired from WcW and the Monday Nitro later he ran through the crowd, jumped over the barrier and attacked Savage. Savage looked like he didn't have a clue what was going on and security grabbed Pillman and dragged him away.

Another one:

On one of the  last Nitros ever, Scott Steiner lost to Booker T in a 6 man tag match. When they came back from commercial, it showed Steiner tearing up the locker room. There was this HUGE ladder Steiner knocked over and landed right on top of the camera. The camera got all  fucked up and turned different colors. I laughed my ass off when I saw  it.

And yes, I'm pretty sure that the Pillman stuff was a work to make his gimmick as a "loose cannon"

Once in ECW Sandman climbed up on a chair to do his beer drinking thing and fell.

Wrestlemania 3: Billy Jack Haynes Vomited when he was getting full nelsoned by hercules, actually i dont know what the hell it was it was a lot of spit or something.

Wrestlemania (5 or 6):

Hacksaw Jim Duggan Had this HUGE snot hanging out his nose, Jessie Ventura was funny as hell when he was making fun of it "Look at that snot Gorilla!, Thats disgusting!"

At WMX8, when Maven allegedly dropkicks the trash can into Goldust's face (barely making contact with the can)? That should win the Erik Watts Award for WORST DROPKICK. EVER. I mean, he didn't even put a slight dent in the can, and other guys bend the can just by picking it up. The crowd just went quiet when they saw it. Like the Hardyz dropkick incident at RR 2001, they changed the camera angle for the encore presentation later that night.

If you wanna have some fun, rent the InVasion ppv and watch Regal vs. Raven. Every time there's a miscommunication or blown spot, take a shot of the hardest drink you have lying around. The match is such a disaster that your liver will probably explode by the end of the match.

And yes, those Lance Storm chair shots on RVD from Barley Legal are quite possibly the weakest things you'll ever see, My friends and I were laughing for a full 20 minutes after.

According to Lance Storm's website, ECW was the first promotion where he had to do more than just wrestle, so those were some of his first ever chairshots.  I think he got much better with time.

I do not know. Where there a lot of people in the ring? I remember the ring being full and the stunner not coming anywhere close to hitting.

As an aside, I thought that the way Hall sold the last stunner he took at Wrestlemania this year was absolutely hilarious. That was worth hiring him right there.

I think the Austin stunner he is referring to was of a referee, and I believe it was right after he returned from the neck surgery, and he was stunning people left and right to see who ran over him. It was a Raw I believe, but it may have even been a Heat. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Smackdown.

I recall RVD going for a table spot in November 2001 and getting his face smacked into a table.

I also recall the Thunder where the video went out for awhile leaving us with audio. Also, the Sunday Night Heat where that happened.

Actually, there was. People like Kane, Undertaker, Angle, Jericho, Booker T, Vince, Shane, and I think Test are just some of  the people I remember.

They kept Test as far away from that as possible while still getting his Shane booty push.

The order of events

McMahon hit Shane with the trash Can

Test and Booker run in

Taker and Kane run in

Taker Last Rides Booker, Test and Kane kick eachother.

Regal runs in, Low Blows Taker and Union Jacks him.

Rock Runs in and DDTss Regal

Austin runs in and attacks Rock

Angle and Jericho run in, Angle hits everyone in Team WWF with a chair.

Austin hits the phantom stunner on Vince, giving Shane the win.

Show ends with JR losing it while only Austin, Angle and Shane are standing.

During the 2000 Rumble, Brian Christopher bulldogs D'Lo Brown FACE-FIRST onto Mosh's ankle like a moron.

D-Lo almost Droz-ed Christopher in that match. He had him up for the powerbomb, began to drop him and GMS was able to flip over. Scary.

I read this, was intrested, and I just took out my copy of Rumble 2000 and watched. Both those things  were horrible. GMS was about an inch away from snapping  his neck and I think Chaz got legitally hurt after the bulldog.

The scariest part about it is that you know Lawler was seriously worried.  That was about a few months after the Droz accident.  So when D-Lo had GMS up for the powerbomb, you can hear Lawler say "Oh no..." in his worried, Owen-just-fell-and-it-doesn't-look-good voice.  They didn't commentate for the move.  I think Lawler must have been holding his breath.

No no no.... you are ALL wrong about the phantom stunner.

I remember it was in 99.... and Stone Cold had just got disqualified or something... about 8 referees ran in and tried to control him. Austin started attacking them, and he hit the stunner on one guy, and the camera angle was just right to see Austin had his arm hooked around nothing, the ref about 2 feet away, still took it. The ref was in the air, with his knees folded, and his head tucked, even though there was about two feet of seperation from his neck and Austins arm.

It was hilarious.

One of my all-time favorite screw ups was back in 1999 on the Nitro where they brought back the NWO when Piper was going crazy backstage the whole show.

There was a segment where he was tearing up the "Powers That Be" office set with a bat and he tried to break a tv but couldn't, even after hitting it like 6 times with the bat.  I swear he said "fuck it" and they went to commercial... ah the old wcw...

NWA Starrcade 88. Ric Flair vs Luger.

Luger gets busted open and match is called off due to Maryland's stupid rule. But Luger has had cut him self shaving and more blood came out than that time.

That was the Great American Bash '88. Flair won clean at Starrcade '88 over Luger.

In a RVD/Sabu match on one of the ECW PPVs, they went to 30 min draw I think.  About 15-20 minutes in Sabu has to slide to the side of the ring and puke on to the floor and then a few minutes later he did it again.  Gotta love that crazy Sabu.

That would be the table match he had with the Dudleys the night after Survivor Series. That sequence was pretty sickening and I thought Rob had broken his neck hitting the table like that.

i donnu if it's been mentioned already but during wcw's later days lex luger and elizabeth were doing a promo backstage and when it ended  the camera kept going for another 10 seconds or so. you could hear the director saying  stuff and luger and liz chatting. it was just a great example of wcw at it's worst
