Rendclaw Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Click here Now I will grant that it might be 3 in the morning on friday night and I am getting a little punch-drunk, but this article had be cracking up in spots.. Check it out...
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Sports Guy has done better. He's been doing this for years now. Hopefully every person that reads ESPN.com reads every single one of his articles, as he is the funniest sports writer I think I have ever read. I guess Jimmy Kimmel thought so too...
Guest Kingpk Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Well geez, no Hubie Brown to ramble on, no Peter Vescey to make fun of, and he can't really rip on the ESPN guys, so he had to be hurting for material. Turns out that LeBron's wearing No. 23 in Cleveland. Nice. Paying props to MJ. Wise move. "Oh, that's so cute," says the Sports Gal, who's immediately kicked out of the room.

I agree on that one. Check out his "random thoughts" column (which includes the blurb in my sig) for some good laughs. Still, the Sports Guy and Gregg "Tuesday Morning Quarterback" Easterbrook are two of the best recurring columns around.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Does Hunter S. Thompson still do a column for ESPN.com? Since I don't care about sports enough to read columns, his column was the only reason I ever went into the columns section.
