I wanted to start a thread about it at the start of the tournament but realised it would've gone nowhere like all my other threads in this folder because it's not about Gridiron, Ice Hockey, Basketball or Baseball. Henman v Roddick as a Final is possible, but not all that likely. I don't think Roddick will get past Schalken or Federer and likewise I don't think Henman can beat Grosjean, Ferrero or Philippoussis. At this stage, I'm leaning towards a Philippoussis v Schalken final. *drool*
Guest The Czech Republic Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Last year was an awesome Wimbledon. The only thing that kept it from being more awesome were the anti-climactic finals. Hewitt and Nalbandian was marginally interesting with the #1 and some lower-seed guy. Then you had an All-Williams match on the other side, and those are always boring and crappy. Richard Krajicek really would've been the best champion last year, or at least finalist. After that marathon match against Phillippoussis that held the whole men's draw back, he should've gotten past Malisse and the next two guys therefafter. Krajicek ruled.
