Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Alright Rico finally has a gimmick that fits him and it's bombing worse than, oh i don't know (insert funny comment here). With Goldust in gimmick pergatory after his failed gi gi gim gim gimmie gimmick dick dick, I think it's only right to but these two homoerotic comedy wrestlers together to make a legitimate tag team. Goldust could help get Rico over, and Rico could give Goldust some direction that he desperatly needs. I think it would help boost the non-existent Raw tag team division, and it would give something else Yuna can put in her sig. And Hurricane should be on Smackdown. That is all. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2003 and it would give something else Yuna can put in her sig. Why would I waste sig space on Rico and Goldust? Granted, I'll enjoy their work together, but not enough to make a banner about 'em.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Rico and Goldust, a tag team made in Heaven? I'm against the idea. Better off as a feud. Granted, Goldust had the rountine when he first made in 1995, going onto 1996, didn't do it much throughout 1997, acted like it again in late 1997/ early 1998, and didn't do it much when he returned to being Goldust in late 1998. Still acts like it from time to time, but not in the ring-wise how like Rico does which Goldie USED to do back in the mid-90s. Even I'll admit Rico's previous gimmick as the evil fashion stylist guru was a lot better. At least he has Jackie rather than the two fat Samoan guys so that's always a plus. He still rules and I'm glad he's slowly getting a push. I hope to see him win gold later on this year. By the way, Rico would make short work of The Hollywood Freak. Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I'd dig it if Ric did another one of his in ring deals like he did with Maven next week... Walks back stage with Jackie... Goldust in full decked out gear walks by and goes "YOU MAKE ME S-SSS--II-CCK" And leave it there forever.

Guest JMA Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Rico's gimmick isn't bombing. I myself love the gimmick. He just needs a couple of weeks to fine his niche. I'd have him do more promos and establish his character more. For example, the announcers could debate if he's really gay or just playing mindgames. If they pull it off right it could be gold. Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Gay gimmicks = sucking. Gay heels play off the crowd's homophobia to work, which is mindblowingly pathetic. Gay faces... just don't happen?
Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Screw what you all think, I just like uniform tag teams, I hated Goldust/Booker t and Kane/Rvd. They both have the same type of gimmick and are not going anywhere in singles right now.
