Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Chirst on toast...fireworks have been going off here for about 3 weeks straight now. I can understand a day before or right around there. I was woken up this morning at 3 am due to these dickcheeses setting them off. Anyone else?
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I doubt it's actual celebration of the Holiday so much as a bunch of dumbasses relishing in the annual sale of fireworks and being jerks.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Hearing random fireworks is rather common during the summer. Fireworks are fun to play with...at night...after you've been drinking but you aren't passing out drunk...so I've heard...I'd never do such a thing
Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted July 2, 2003 "You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not. - I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. - Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will tryumph in that Days Transaction, even altho We should rue it, which I trust in God We shall not." - John Adams, 07/03/1776 God bless. Guest JHawk Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I find it interesting that in Ohio, it's legal to buy fireworks but illegal to set them off. Pennsylvania also has the same law. And to get around that, people in Ohio buy their fireworks in Pennsylvania and set them off in Ohio, and vice versa. Friday's gonna be soooooo much fun, isn't it? LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Around here they'll set them off 2 days before and a week after. It's quite annoying as they always set them off until the middle of the night.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 2, 2003 u KNOW you're getting old when fireworks become annoying... Don't you remember when your father would admonish the Punk kids down the street for lighting fireworks and you would think "What's the big deal? it's just fireworks"... Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Around here, we have extravagant wars with them. People get burned, clothes get ruined. Roman candles are a good weapon of choice, due to multiple shots, and they're pretty easy to direct. There's much more prestige in getting a direct hit with a cheap little bottle rocket, though.
