I am sure most of you already know that Comedy Central will be playing the South Park movie at 1:00am on Friday night/Saturday morning...UNCUT!

 

There's no way that can happen. I mean do they honestly expect the public to belive we'll see the entire "Uncle Fucker" scene without it getting censored? (not to mention all the other scenes they'd have to censor)

At 1am, I wouldn't doubt it. They got away with saying "shit"162 times in 22 minutes, they might be able to pull it off.

I have to watch it just to see. But that movie is just filthy, not there is anything wrong with that. But I am very interested to see what will happen. And the 1am time is eastern.

Let me remind everyone that it says Uncut...not Uncensored. Of course it's just a minor difference and most people consider them the same. But still technically it's a loophope that Comedy Central can and will use.

They won't let everything slid. It'll be a lot like TNN's uncut movies or like USA's uncut version of Howard Stern's Private Parts. While they won't have someone narrating (like Stern did for the uncut TV version), they just bleeped out the f bombs and although this wouldn't apply to South Park, anytime nudity was involved, it was just blurred out.

The way that they did the promos (plus them airing it at the dead of night) makes me think it wil be truly "uncut" but I wouldn't put it past them bleeping out the F-Word or at the very least, bleeping it out except for when it is crucial to the plot (such as during Uncle Fucker and during Cartman's fight with Saddam at the very end....

I think its so ridiculous that you can't just say and show anything past midnight on television, especially cable. If a kid is up that late watching t.v. then they've probably already heard every curse word there is. On the subject my guess is they will edit the scene where Sadaam whips out the dildo and blur it out.

I just bought Season 2 on DVD and the first episode was Terrance and Phillip's "Not Without My Anus", the April Fools Episode. Matt Stone and Trey Parker talked about the controversy that surrounded it.

 

EVERYONE shit on it, but that was fucking hilarious.

I think "uncut" means that every scene will be left in, but certain words will be beeped. Some channels edit the movies for tv and actually cut full scenes out of movies. Which ever channel it is that shows Showgirls all the time does that.

I doubt it will be totally uncut, but just a note last year ESPN showed that dumb Bobby Knight movie that had fuck like 30 times along with every other word in the book, and this was in the day time or prime time, I can't remember if it was 5pm or 8pm. If they got away with that surely South park could get away with the movie at 1am.

Well according to TV Guide the movie is "uncut and unedited" so we'll see. They make sure to point out that it is a late showing so I'm kinda thinking CC is trying to get away with it.
