Guest HartFan86 Posted March 29, 2002 Report Posted March 29, 2002 What pyro was the loudest you have ever heard, in person or on TV?
Guest commish13 Posted March 29, 2002 Report Posted March 29, 2002 jericho's is really loud live, and kane's, while not extremely loud, when it goes off in the middle of a match or right after a commercial break, it makes you jump. tazz's ain't no slouch either.
Guest papacita Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Goldust's pyro and Chyna's C-2000 thing are both a lot louder in person. At a Raw once, I was right next to the stage when Goldust came out and it had my ears ringing for a good 10 mins. The loudest I'd hafta say Kane
Guest JMTapes Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 The opening of Heat, believe it or not. I was at the first show after they axed the WWFNY format, and it scared the BEJESUS out of me.-Jim www.jmtapes.com
Guest Some Guy Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I was sitting in the back row of the balcony at the Fleetcenter to the side of the Titantron (very shitty seats) and when Jericho's pyro went off not only was it wicked loud, but I could feel the heat from it.
Guest papacita Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Goldust has pyro? Yeah. I dunno if he still has it. Those gold sparklers (kinda like HBK's except they're not...you know...anyway) that shoot up from the stage when he comes out.
Guest AM The Kid Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Jericho's is nuts, just a huge BANG! The RAW opening, scared the crap out of me when those two fire works come blasting down.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Goldust has pyro? Yeah. I dunno if he still has it. Those gold sparklers (kinda like HBK's except they're not...you know...anyway) that shoot up from the stage when he comes out. I really don't recall those. I know the Goldust used to fall from the ceiling. I would assume The Big Show's pyro is really loud.
Guest TheDames7 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 In person, it would definitely be Kane...its startling and its hot....but damn, when Jericho debuted, the pyro screwed up my speakers! Dames - Deserves Pyro
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I was there live when Kane returned after a long absence in Vancouver in May 99. It was unexpected by everyone and it went off in the middle of the main event. Scared the shit out of me.
Guest Nevermortal Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Kane's & Jericho's are super loud; but Jericho's can be prepared for, unlike Kane.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 booker T's especially in wcw semed really loud to me.
Guest Reverb Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I would also say that Jericho's and Kane's pyro are the loudest. Kurt Angle's pyro is also pretty loud. But the coolests are the RAW and SmackDown pyro display.
Guest treble charged Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Jericho's pyro is not only loud, but the heat is incredible. Watching it on TV, you don't think about the fact that fire, you know, emits heat. The blast of heat in your face is more surprising then they sound.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 speaking of heat, Booker T's flames were fucking hot as hell!!! And the opening of RAW is mad loud!!!!
Guest Drury37 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Jericho's pyro is extremely loud and I have this thing called sensitive hearing so whenever I hear fireworks or whatever I like flip out and when I was at a WWF house show and they did his pyro I like started flipping out.And why do they have pyro at house shows now?I can't go to any wrestling anymore because of my sensitive hearing. Thanks.
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 I remember hearing Jericho say in an interview that he was given pyro of twice the concussive power of Kane's. He went on to say that he didn't want to outdo Kane, as he sees Kane as 'the pyro.... guy'. I think this was on an episode of Livewire, back when they had little features every week. It could be on pyro (as the above feature was), the music of the WWF, a new commercial with a WWFer involved, that sort of thing.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 I would probably say the Dudleys, for the screeching at the beginning alone.
