Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Sorry, you lost me at "WWE has employed one of the FINEST tag teams in history, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin" I like Team Angle, I really do, big Benjamin fan I dig their matches with Tajeddie, but they aren't even close.
Guest Korgath Posted July 5, 2003 Report Posted July 5, 2003 I think they've lost a credible tag team now that Chavito's injured and Eddie's on a heel turn. Which is a disappointment, because the Los Guerreros win after a Tag Team Triple Threat was something that brought the competition to a whole new level. Supposedly, the Basham Brothers are being labelled as "boring" by backstage management. Which is a waste of good OVW talent. Apparently, they've decided the debut of BDTTP as sidekicks of an established champion was a one-off winning formula. It kills me to realise that one OVW tag team was introduced when Heyman was in creative and one OVW tag was introduced post-Heyman. And now they're talking about bringing in the Disciples of Synn? Puh-leaze. What RAW needs is for the Tag Team division to be paired with the Women's division. Unfortunately, they only thing they could come up with was Bubba Ray and Trish VS. Stevie and Victoria. Morons. I say pair up Val with Ivory and add someone with that "superstar look". You've got excellent mat workers with wonderful physique and pretty decent charisma. A winning team?
Guest Coffey Posted July 5, 2003 Report Posted July 5, 2003 Al Snow + Lance Storm = the tag team of SnowStorm I'd mark out for sure. Come on, RAW writers! Pair them up, they ain't got shit going on! I had Al Snow & Chris Kanyon as "Cold Front" in my EWR game. Their finisher was called "Absolute Zero." I still like these ideas/names.
Lil' Bitch Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 + = the tag team of SnowStorm with potential outstanding matches and hiliarious promos / segments. I think it would work out great if WWE knew how to improve their tag division.
Ultra Violence Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 /me wants "Head Cheese" back, I still can't believe I didn't get the innuendo at the time
ChrisMWaters Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 I still would like to see Gowen/Spanky as a team for some reason. I dunno why...it just would seem to work for me. Also, I could see Hurricane trying to make Maven the Robin to Hurricane's Batman for some reason. ...though, I WOULD rather have a return of Mighty Molly...but still.

People actually want to see Gowen in the ring? Huh? Make Spanky an MF'er and team him up w/ Moore.

Guest whatitistoburn Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 For some reason the best I've come up with is sticking Spanky in as Rikishi's little buddy.

I COULD see, however, an alliance ala Batman and Superman between the two of them. that's good...you could call them "World's Finest" or, you COULD introduce Nova as Hurricane's sidekick, at first, then have Nova get bitter and resentful for being introduced as Hurricane's "sidekick", and have him turn heel on him and drop the hero gimmick altogether and have Nova as a serious character.
Guest Choken One Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Nova+Serious=HA! What a joke. Again...Why the creaming of pants for this guy?
