Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Nick Mondo injured... From his messageboard: just rolled in last night. In case you didn't know, I made a road trip to CZW for their last show. ...yep. 20 hrs each way. Brutal drive, but I had a lot of fun. I rode with Kaos (he worked under a different name last weekend), Anarchist Arik Cannon, and Rain. I haven't watched the footage yet, but we taped tons of funny stuff. I'm actually thinking about packing it with the Italy footage and selling it. I'll type as much as I can, but I actually want to keep this one kind of short...I got back from my doctor/chiropractor's office a few hours ago and received some bad news. My right wrist, which has been painfully nagging me since the show on sunday, turned out to possibly have 3 breaks in it. The first one that they're just about positive about is one of the 2 main bones. ..Like the ones that run up your wrist through your forearm - well, that one looks to be broken all the way across. There's 2 smaller ones where my wrist connects to my hand that also look to be broken. The X-Rays are being sent to a specialist to be examined more, but my chiropractor is just about positive that they're broken. ...All the bones in my hand are compressed and forced up against my wrist/arm bones. There's supposed to be a substantial gap, but I have almost none at the moment. So basically, my wrist is in bad shape. I've broken the scaphoid bone in that wrist 3 times in the past, which is basically why I don't do moonsaults anymore. When I do them, they're screwed up looking because breaking my wrist has caused a mental block for me. ..But this time feels worse than the past ones, and it's actually the first time my chiropractor has said he wishes he could tell me not to wrestle. This could seriously change my predictions.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Well shit. Hopefully he won't be out too long. And did he say he rode with Kaos? As in former XPW homegrown star Kaos?

Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 23, 2003 No, "Kaos" Cody O'Neill, who faced Arik Cannon. As for Mondo, I have no doubts that he'll be there this Saturday. This might change some of the bumps that he'll be able to take, but he'll be there.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Horace the Psychopath is #16 for KODM. He jobbed to Ian in the first round of the MAW Hardcore Cup this year, and PFL came up with the theory that Mondo recommended Horace to Ian, to make up for Mondo cancelling, and so that Ian won't kill him at TOD2. Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Also, CM Punk's going to be working for Zero-One around the time of KODM, so the three-way between him, Hero, and Homicide will most likely just be Hero/Homicide. Still going to be a swank match, though.
Guest Randy Pan Report post Posted July 26, 2003 I have read good things about Horace, although I expect him to job really quickly. CM Punk out? NOOOOOOOOOO. Please tell me he has at least one more IWA MS match in him!!!!! *cough*Ted Petty mark II*cough*
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 26, 2003 TPI depends on what committments Punk has to Zero-One and ROH during that time. Non-tourny matches for both events TOD2 Ruckus & Sonjay Dutt vs. Messiah & B-Boy Backseat Boys vs Broad Street Boozers ("Double Shot" Ian Knoxx & "Always Trashed" Adam Flash) (not confirmed) KODM: Night One Chris Hero vs. Homicide (IWA Title match?) Jimmy Jacobs (HUSS!) vs. Jerry Lynn Becky Bayless vs. some woman.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted July 26, 2003 Bayless'll probably be working Mickie, since Mickie was supposed to work Rain until Rain's ride, Nick Mondo, pulled out of KOTDM.
