Goldust will miss house shows this weekend and Raw on Monday. He has jury duty and won't be able to make the trip.

Yea- Picturing Goldust in jury duty just makes me laugh.

I don't see how Goldie missing RAW is news though. He always misses RAW

Well, he hasn't been on RAW in about 2 months so does it really matter that much?

and how about this:

Defendant giving testimony - Yes, he approached me and started fondling my..

Goldust - (stuters) BOOBIES!..

Judge - Order!

I was taking a shit today (no really, this is going somewhere), and before I went into the washroom I saw "Have a Nice Day" and thought "What the hell" and grabbed it. Something that made me laugh was when Mick felt that Vince had the ability to push stars if they had earned it, and used that to put his company on top. He felt three good examples of this were him, Austin, and that's right, Goldust. ...the hell? That was just funny on so many levels....

Goldust has earned a push in the WWF/E.

He's done everything the company has asked him to (which is saying something) and he got in terrific shape when he returned. He also got HIMSELF over all while becoming a terrific worker at the same time. While Goldust is not getting a push is beyond me

Nah, I mean this was back in 1998, and I wasn't talking about him earning the push, it was him being credited with the rise of the WWE. That's what made me laugh.

Also, it's kind of funny to think of how he "earned" his push in WCW, but that's totally irrelevant and I agree I'm a fan of Black Gold, but I haven't watched a full episode literally since like friggen last year. I might catch a glimpse of something that interests me, but that's about it.

Oh okay. Goldust is my #2 favourite and it pisses me off seeing him get buried for no reason.

Just for the record, what exactly does kayfabe mean? It is the same as character?

Yea- kayfabe is pretty much being in character 24-7.

So if Dustin did jury duty in total kayfabe- there'd be problems

Certainly not in the comedy department, though!

I thought Goldust was smart enough to get out of jury duty. :P

And even ten years ago, he would have had to stay in character for it or risk being fired.

How I miss the old days.

Maybe he got wind of the booking direction, and decided jury duty would be better.

"Let's see...jury duty, or job to Randy Orton... Uh, Sorry Vince, I tried to get it out of it but I just couldn't do it."

The thought of Goldust kayfabeing it through a trial is hysterical...seeing him all decked out in the robe and wig and sitting in the jurors' box...

I think it'd even work on RAW.

Two weeks later Bischoff sees Goldust backstage.

Eric: "And where the hell have you been."

Goldust *straight face* "Jury duty."

Eric: "Oh give me a break! Get out of my site."

Or something along those lines.

obviously the WWE creative team have been on jury duty for some MEGA corporate trial for the last 2 years.... hence we are now blessed with the uncreative team.

I expect this to be made into an angle somehow though.

Sounds like the perfect RAW skit in the works already.

*Goldust, all dressed up, shown sitting in with the jurors after a match finishes on the TV screen / Titantron.

J.R.: What the heck is this?

The King.: No idea, Ross, it looks like Goldust in a court right now.

J.R.: Why would Goldust be in court?

The King: I can think of plenty of reasons why.

J.R.: Is this happening as we speak?

The King: I think so.

*waits for shit to happen courtesy of Goldie*
