Actually, they do run gimmick matches.... There have been numerous bunkhouse matches, not to mention the fact that Raven v. CM Punk is a chain match next show.

If they use the simplest of booking logic, they could use Hardy (whether he joins the raver-druggies or stays on his own) to put over Mr. Straight Edge himself, CM Punk. The feud could write itself, and putting Punk over another name star could cement his top heel status.
