Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 7, 2003 Despite his handicap, Zach Gowen is reportedly handling himself well backstage and is doing a good job of fitting in with the other wrestlers. However, there is already some concern that several mid-card wrestlers will refuse to put Gowen over because it would hurt their credibility by losing to someone with one leg. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels is rumored to be taking place at Summer Slam. William Regal is now working as a road agent for the Smackdown brand. Guest Vyce Report post Posted July 7, 2003 I don't know what to make of the Orton / Michaels match. On the one hand, I hate having Orton forced upon us and I want his push killed. On the other, I strongly dislike Michaels and love the fact that they'll make him job to the greenhorn. As for Regal, is his in-ring career finished or what? Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 8, 2003 I wonder if Shawn will do his buddy a favor and put Orton over. That would be a disgrace. Not putting Jericho over but jobbing to Suckbag. However, there is already some concern that several mid-card wrestlers will refuse to put Gowen over because it would hurt their credibility by losing to someone with one leg. Ironically, this is normally when they would have Test manhandle and beat him in a failed attempt to get him over. (I'm referring to the spring-mid summer SD, where every face push hit a brick wall of a beat down or job to Test. For some (Bob Holly), that seemed to be the sole reason for the push.) Guest The Old Me Report post Posted July 8, 2003 Suckbag. Orton doesn't suck! Well, he isn't good yet, but no worse than Lesnar, and he's worlds more entertaining than HHH!
