I mean that lovingly, but it's clear that the characters are based on the simpsons characters. Just look at Lenny and Carl vs. Quagmire and Cleveland and 2.5 children. Format wise, it's a rip-off. Content wise it's not, no way, The Simpsons for the past few years have TRIED to be like the Family Guy, if anything.
