Guest Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Weird story from my buddy that went to a WCW Thunder show in Cleveland a few years ago... Apparently, they were sitting in the upper deck when a guy next to them gets up and leaves. A few minutes later, the guy's buddy tells my friends "See my buddy down there? Yeah, he was just here a few minutes ago. He's going to walk down that aisle of the crowd, jump the rail and get into the ring." Sure enough, just as the guy is describing it, the guy is down in the floor seats moving towards the ring. He got over the rail and into the ring and it was barely on TV (this was during a match). Of course, once he got to the ring, he got the shit beat out of him. I'm thinking this was either a Buff Bagwell or DDP match... Definitely entertaining because I remember watching it happen on TV, then having my buddies tell me about it the next day.

I remember watching that and thinking to myself, why in the hell would you rush the ring when the Bulldog is in there. Davey Boy looked like he was going to tear that guy up. I remember the Vader incident that conainwasmurdered mention too. That was weird. I thought that it was just a work until Vader actually smothers the guy and just kind of lays on him.

Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 At a Nitro taping in London at the back end of 2000 there were about 5 Security men on the floor just running after these 14 year olds who would run all over the place showing their anti-WCW signs. Funny thing is, you know with Security guards you either get the normal, dlightly built ones who look hard or the 250lb fat asses who are only there because of their size. Well, it was the fat ones chasing after the kids and my mate and I were laughing all night long. Another one is when at Insurextion 2001 (May) after the main event of Triple H v Austin v Undertaker, a fan launched a big 2 litre bottle of Coke at Steph and it smacked her right in the head, knocking her off her feet. HHH went mad and Security carted off the fan somewhere. He must have got hurt real bad.

On Extreme Warfare (I forget if its Vol 1 or 2); Public Enemy win a match, then invite THE ENTIRE CROWD into the ring. They dance to their theme song, and then the fucking ring breaks. I still think its one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

I think they were fighting Cactus Jack and someone else. Anyway catus calls for a chair but the fan throws it into the ring. About 5 seconds later every fan in the arena is throwing chairs into the ring. And PE is underneath them all. It was a hell of a sight I'm sure there a video clip of it somewhere on the web.

Dreamer and Franchise are brawling in the crowd and a fan totally clocks Douglas right in his face. The mullet-headed ECW security run to pull him off but not before Douglas wallops the guy and jumps on him. Funny stuff. The Piper vs Hogan match was @ Halloween Havoc 97. The funny thing was that the guy totally had security fooled because it was during the NWO vs Fake Sting angle and the fan was wearing a sting mask. After he was halfway up the cage security wised up and started chasing after him.

Now, to me, Awesome would be one of the last guys to do that to, and Awesome just kicked his ass, totally ignoring Vamp. Hehe...
