Not to start another Nash thread...

Look, I'll be quite frank....I always found Nash entertaining and with the right oppenent 5-6 years ago, he could have a decent match. But after seeing him job to Test on Raw, I think it's plain and simple that the creative has no plans for him and it's probably safe to say he's not going to be doing anything constructive anytime soon.

I honestly think Nash should call it quits and either have an early retirement and enjoy the rest of life, or do something non-wrestling because he really doesn't serve anymore purpose. I know he's someone who gets tooled on constantly (and you all probably wish Nash retired years ago), but the guy has had like 25 knee surgeries or something (I don't know the number) and even if people want to say "He's in the best shape of his life since returning from the quad injury" it's bullshit because he's shot when it comes to his health, as far as athletics are concerned.

And not that all of you wouldn't want to see it, but I really don't want to see another former WCW guy getting buried on TV anymore. I'm pretty sick of it, to be honest because we've had to deal with it for the past 10 months with HHH going over everyone (I don't need to keep saying what everyone else feels). I, as a fan of the WWF since the end of 1996, have had to deal the bullshit hell of watching the Fall-Winter of 2002 and probably one of the worst runs the WWE has EVER had and it seems just when things are starting to get better (The whole Wrestlemania 19 buildup shows) it just gets shitter again. And Nash hasn't helped anything since he came back.

He obviously did all he's going to do in the business so what's the point?

We've had to deal with enough burying and bullshit on Raw for the past 8-10 months...spare us for it happening in one more case.

Um, I think it's setting up a Jericho/Test vs. HBK/Nash feud.

Um, I think it's setting up a Jericho/Test vs. HBK/Nash feud.

Maybe...and I don't mind HBK/Nash having one last run as a tag team, but this is WWE.

HBK/Nash will turn on each other 209834 times, then main event a Raw PPV.

And this brings Jericho down even further (he isn't a lost cause...yet). Jericho needs to beat HBK in a 1 on 1 match....not some pointless tag match that no one will care about.

Edit: And isn't Test still feuding with Steiner? Considering JR plugged it the whole match.

That will probably blow off with Nash causing Test a match vs. Steiner a week or 2 from now.

The way I see it is that they've positioned Test with Jericho (if last week was any indication) and Nash just questionably lost a match against Test (thus setting up a rematch) and Jericho is going against HBK in 2 weeks. Nash is too smart to just get out of the spotlight and it's been said for a while now (mainly by me) that him teaming with HBK again would keep him in the spotlight (and going on to win the tag titles later on - I kinda figured they'd be setting it up by now).

I suppose HBK/Nash wouldn't be too bad as a tag team because 1. It gets them out of boring programs and longer TV time, 2. They can be much more entertaining, 3. Their ring work is much more limited, 4. It would help a Tag Division that is in dying need of help.

Who knows.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nash as a manager. It could still keep him in the public eye and he could still do promos, and it keep him from pretending he can still compete.

I'm holding out hope that last night's "squash" at the hands of Test is signalling Nash's unceremonious removal from the ranks of WW_.

Good riddance to bad knees.

I like Nash as a talker. He doesn't really seem to be in a character but he seems serious about what he's going on about...but I've seen all I want to see of him in the ring.

All of this boils down to one person: Vince.

If Vince wants to hand Nash money to stink up the ring, why would he turn it down? I wouldn't...
