Guest TheDames7 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 D'vons running top rope neckbreaker... And Val Venis's Blue Thunder Bomb (Backdrop into a sitdown powerbomb thats never pinned ANYONE) Dames - Dames Driver
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Booker T - Harlem Hangover...Damnit.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I concur with D-Von's top rope neckbreaker, that move is insane...
Guest Risk Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 IMO, every wrestler should have three signature finishing moves, and they shouldn't mean automatic wins either. I'm a fan of the new shoot-like style in Japan.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 If Bubba Ray EVER hit his Senton, it should be an automatic three count and the guy should sell it like he was hit by a truck. As of now, he doesn't even have a finisher...whatever happened to the Bubba Cutter, hmm?
Guest X-Factor Corperation Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 The Walls of Jericho. Heh....
Guest Ravenbomb Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 The DDT should be finisher level again. It used to mean something damnit! Now everybody uses it. When was the last time someone lost to the DDT? Last time I remember was Rock beating Regal with it. I know Raven won on Smackdown but he had help. Everyone but Raven and Dreamer should stop using the DDT. Turnbuckle powerbomb
Guest art_vandelay Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 - Angle's moonsault, the times when it has hit it's only received 2 counts - Regal's Union Jack neckbreaker - Bradshaw's Powerbomb, if he ever does it anymore
Guest caboose Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 that ddt that undertaker does when the opponent telegraphs the backdrop. farooq's spinebuster(ouch). and the 'spin-a-roonie!'
Guest Austin3164life Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 One move that Jericho should adapt into his arsenal.....the Shooting Star Press.....or what he would probably call it, the "Legend's Leap".....
Guest TheMikeSC Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I'll say Christian's inverted DDT looks pretty swank. I also think Bubba Ray Dudley's Bubba Bomb could work as a good finisher. -=Mike
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Why anyone should be allowed to kick out of a powerbomb is beyond me! The WWF should limit the powerbomb to certain wrestlers and make it a finisher. Period.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 the bubba bomb the jackhammer (billy uses it as just another move) d-von's top rope neckbreaker
Guest Zero_Cool Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 That last time I saw it, Benoit's Diving Headbutt was nothing but a signature move. It was a pretty good finisher in WCW.
Guest muswp1 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 Someone should take the jackhammer away from Billy Gunn, although I haven't seen him do one in about a year, and let someone else use it as a finisher. Shelton Benjamin would be perfect. He probably has the strenght to pull it off right to.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 That last time I saw it, Benoit's Diving Headbutt was nothing but a signature move. It was a pretty good finisher in WCW. I think that got him the Intercontenental championship at wrestlemania.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 WM 2000? Well, I meant recently, not two years ago...or a year.
Guest TheDames7 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 It'll break your spine!!! *Helms mark mode off*. I put my 6 year old niece in the Vertebreaker position a few times a day I think HHH needs an extra finisher in his arsenal. It seems people don't pop for anything in his offense BUT the Pedigree. Dames - Niece Murderer
Guest Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I always said that if I were a wrestler I would use the face crusher that King pulls as one of his throws in Tekken II as my finisher. A bit simplistic, but it looks so freaking brutal when he drops to one knee and plants your face there.
Guest Nater Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 last time Regal Stretch won a match? .. walls of jericho, not so good anymore.. hell just about any submission is weak now, matches are either big slams or international object shots now..
Guest Dace59 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 One move that Jericho should adapt into his arsenal.....the Shooting Star Press.....or what he would probably call it, the "Legend's Leap"..... ROFLMAO!!!!!!! That's how he broke his ****ing arm, trying an SSP when he was Super Lyger (while training) in Japan working under Ultimo Dragon! (Strange it only lasted one night) He'll NEVER EVER be doing an SSP again. Alot of King's throws from the Takken games are wrestling moves, such as the Muscle Buster, the Vertebreaker, etc.
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 last time Regal Stretch won a match? two weeks ago on smackdown when he beat ddp for the europeon title.
Guest Nater Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I missed that one unfortunately. Which is a rare occurance for Raw/Smackdown. Maybe recently its been that too often a Chair or Title has been the way to end a match because people cant buy that a guy who punches and kicks his way around a match for 7 to 12 minutes can be held down.. too much spunk in the guy i guess? Taking bumps is one thing but putting on a shoot match can get boring especially when your arsenal is put down because of that. Breaking a "signature" hold was a big deal at some point (yes yes nostalgia..) like the Sharpshooter or Figure-4.. now its just a race to the ropes or a run in. Guess that says a lot about my opinion on current wrestling..
Guest starvenger Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 >IMO, every wrestler should have three signature finishing moves, and they shouldn't mean automatic wins either. I'm a fan of the new shoot-like style in Japan. I'm not, but I like the idea. And since people no-sell Jericho's Walls, Lionsault and Breakdown, he's already set >I think HHH needs an extra finisher in his arsenal. I agree. Unlike the "Power of the Punch", the "Sledgehammer to the Knee" is a bit more obvious... >Someone should take the jackhammer away from Billy Gunn, although I haven't seen him do one in about a year, and let someone else use it as a finisher. Shelton Benjamin would be perfect. He probably has the strenght to pull it off right to. I'd give it to Lensar - if he didn't do that interesting pancake variation - because the idea of a "rookie monster" destroying people with a jackhammer would be sure to piss off a certain WCW has been...
Guest Anglesault Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I'm a big mark for the Savage/HBK elbow. Now, only if someone who didn't suck would start using it.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 It's pretty bait that Brock is ripping off Goldberg and Rhyno at the same time, but who gives a shit? The guy rocks. His Firemans DDT sorta thing is better than a Jackhammer, but i wish they brought O'Haire back and had him do it again. I marked out when he almost broke Bradshaws neck with it on THAT Raw in July. Also, my name suggests a swank finisher just waiting to be used, and if WWF do bring Lynn back, LET HIM CRADLE PILEDRIVE FOR GODS SAKES! Submissions need to be used more, they can seriously be used as a heat machine from the fans while at the same time allowing the superstars to rest a little. Plus, the Edge O Matic is cool, that deserves to be more than just a trademark near-fall getter.
Guest muzanisa Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 I go with the vertebreaker. If Mutoh isn't coming in then give Jericho the shining Knee.
Guest Dace59 Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 O'Haire never did a fireman's DDT, just a similar move. Vertebreaker has been seen once in the WWF, it got the 3. Don't remember many kick outs from it in WCW. I doubt Jericho would use a Shinning Wizard I or II or II
Guest Anglesault Posted March 30, 2002 Report Posted March 30, 2002 If Mutoh isn't coming in then give Jericho the shining Knee. Please tell me that isn't anything like "The Roaring Elbow"
