Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Offically announced: Nick Gage vs. Nate Hatred Trent Acid & B-Boy vs. Homicide & Danny "Mafia" Maff Reckless Youth vs. Tony Mamaluke Return of A.J. Styles Gage/Hatred won't be blown off this early. If the IWA'ers are in the building that night, they'll strike then, which will most likely lead to Hatred being guy #8 for TOD2. We all know Mondo is #7, just go ahead and announce it. Tag match should rock, Youth/Mamaluke should rock, Styles/whomever (not Ruckus, please not Ruckus, or Blade) should rock. Plus, with the title of Deja Vu 2, it means something violent's going to happen. Last year was Zandig/Lobo No Rope Barbed Wire, but unless the PA commission's lifted the deathmatch ban (and if they did people would jump all over it) that can't happen. I've heard taipei deathmatch, but who knows. Zandig might change everything at the last minute (again). And hopefully no one gets hurt before TOD2.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Since when is Mafia in CZW? THe match looks friggin awesome and it'll definitely deliver, but so far four of the guys announced aren't even really CZW wrestlers. I'm looking forward to Reckless' match and Gage/Hatred. That feud is awhile in the making and should be great.

That feud is awhile in the making and should be great. Mafia ran in during Homicide/Acid at Then and Now. Acid brought B-Boy out with him for that match, which is how this match got set up as opposed to Backseats vs. Homicide/Mafia.
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Card is looking great so far, Guessing B-Boy/Acid Vs. Homicide/Mafia will probably be the show stealer.
Guest JimCTU Report post Posted July 10, 2003 From PWBTS A match that last happened in Philadelphia eight years ago this month will happen again. Come to the ECW Arena to find out what this means... If I remember correctly, 8 years ago in Viking Hall was the Taipei Death Match between Axl and Ian Rotten. Maybe we could be seeing Ian vs Zandig in a Taipei Death Match? As for Nick Mondo, I'm a moderator over at his site and on his latest commentary that went up this morning, he talks about preparing for TOD, so yeah he's a cert. Come to the ECW Arena to find out what this means... If I remember correctly, 8 years ago in Viking Hall was the Taipei Death Match between Axl and Ian Rotten. I'm guessing this one won't be to further an angle with Bill Alfonso . Still, would they want to do Zandig vs. Ian this soon? I would assume Zandig vs. Butcher, given that Butcher turned on CZW at Extreme 8.

LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Taped fists w/ glass. No, it's when the fists are glued to glass, not taped. And could it be more obvious that it's going to be Ian/Axl? No other match that happened in '95 is gonna' happen in CZW except for that.

No other match that happened in '95 is gonna' happen in CZW except for that. They said match, not "two people who fought 8 years ago". I'm guessing they mean stipulation only, not "we're bringing in Axl Rotten".

I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it now that so many seem to have figured it out, though.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2003 No, it's when the fists are glued to glass, not taped. Sounds pretty sick to me. It actually reminds me of that scene inhot shots though. Where the guy dips his fists in smarties and chocolate sauce and stuff.

Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 13, 2003 Nick Mondo & Partner vs. Johnny Kashmere & Partner has been added. Acid & B-Boy are already taken, and there are rumors that Messiah will be facing A.J. Styles at the show. They could run Kashmere & Messiah vs. Mondo & Styles, but why waste Styles on a tag match? Kashmere's partner will prob be an IWA'er, while if it wasn't for the Taipei Deathmatch, I'd say Mondo's would be Zandig. Who knows.
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 there are rumors that Messiah will be facing A.J. Styles at the show. I really hope this happens.... Messiah really needs some wins to build him up as a credible champion, I mean he's been jobbing alot this year. And Hasn't had a clean title defense yet
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 14, 2003 I could see the tag match being Mondo and Ric Blade vs. Kashmere and an IWA guy, playing off a "loyal CZW" vs. HIV/IWA team.
Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted July 15, 2003 im only going to ROH this weekend, cant make czw . but taipai deathmatches are so terrible to watch. ian vs axl was violent but the match suuuuuuucked
Guest DRAWMUH! Report post Posted July 15, 2003 Blade and Mondo vs. Kashmere and Nate Webb?? I sure as hell hope so.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 17, 2003 We finally get a solid lineup for Deja Vu 2 all of three days before the show. Thanks John. Stolen from good ol' Bob Magee and the czwfans board. Like they have the money to sue me. The Deja Vu II challenge of Ian Rotten by Zandig... (a.k.a. fun with broken glass) Nate Hatred vs. Nick Gage AJ Styles makes his return Ruckus will defend his CZW Junior Heavyweight title Jimmy Rave return Trent Acid and B-Boy vs. Homicide and Mafia Tony Mamaluke vs. Reckless Youth In a mixed tag match, Johnny Kashmere and a partner of his choosing vs. Sick Nick Mondo and a partner of his choosing. (Mixed better not mean females will be in there.) The odds of Gage/Hatred and Zandig/Ian ending in no-contests with the IWA crew doing a run-in are probably even. I still say that Hatred will end up being the 8th man for TOD2. As for the TOD2 lineup, check out the Blood x3 thread. It's making me all giddy inside. Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 18, 2003 Added to the card: AJ Styles vs Jimmy Rave Jr. Heavyweight Gauntlet Match: Winner gets shot at Ruckus later that night. Guessing the usual suspects will be involved, Sonjay, Deranged, Frazier, Cash, GQ, Grim Reefer, etc... Hopefully we'll get some surprises, like a Jason Cross, some Special K guys, anyone but Blade and Smoked Out.
Guest DRAWMUH! Report post Posted July 18, 2003 That card is pretty damn good, considering its a week before TOD and the vocal point of the show will be to further the stroylines going in and seeing who the 8th man in the tournement is (I'm guessing..) If they let all the finishes be clean, this could be the card of the year so far for CZW. Tapei Deathmatch (Ian vs. Zandig) Nate Hatred vs. Nick Gage AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Rave (motnc) Ruckus vs. gauntlet winner. Trent Acid and B-Boy vs. Homicide and Mafia Tony Mamaluke vs. Reckless Youth Kashmere + ??? vs. Mondo + ??? Junior Heavyweight Gauntlet Hopefully IWA interference will only play a part in the tapei match.
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2003 I seem to say this every month... but this looks like one of CZW's best shows ever. Zandig or whomever is booking the cards lately has really been doing a great job. CZW CZW CZW
