EL DANDY~! Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Personally, I think that she's a great wrestler, albeit overrated. Some people talk about her in the same breath as Hokuto or Kong, but I think she is just a step below them in that aspect. What do you all think?
Guest wildpegasus Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Toyota overall throughout her career has been the hardest worker in joshi. I also prefer her moveset over any wrestler out there. However a lot of people out there question her selling and fault her for it. Personally I'm okay with it. For me, Toyota is the greatest Joshi wrestler because of her unparalled hard work in the ring. However, in saying that I'd generally rather have one Toyota and one Hokuto than two Toyotas or two Hokutos. A mix of styles is always nice.
Guest deadbeater Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Toyota combines agility, strength and speed that no one does. Her creativity in the ring is second to none. Her only weakness is that she hasn't been called a lot to structure and pace a match inring, which is Kong and Hokuto's greatest strength, and it shows in sloppy ring work from time to time. Most unbelievably, despite her famous balls out style, she is rarely injured (though she does have a shoulder injury now).
Guest HeartBreaka Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Besides Inoue and Hokuto, Toyota would have to be my favourite female wrestler from Japan. She has the ability to adapt to various different opponents as well as different styles. Feuds with the likes of Dynamite Kansei to Inoue, Toyota has always looked awesome when she's performing.
Guest shlidgn90 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 most of the toyota matches i have seen are from the last three years. she is very similir to aja kong due to being able to wrestle two different style at an very high level. due to age and weight gain, toyota's matches now are different from the wreckless style she had ten years ago.
Guest shlidgn90 Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 she also has the best hair in wrestling also.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 No way Toyota's hair tops Kevin's, You wouldn't have seen Kevin treat his with the reckless abandon Manami did at Mid Summer Typhoon! Manami is perhaps the most creative spot wrestler in history and for me had quite possibly the best natural attributes for wrestling of any performer I've seen, I think her brain drags her down below Hokuto, Kong and Ozaki and arguably Yokoda and Aska also We had a 4 page debate on the subject here http://www.smarkschoice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=491 prior to Chris flaming it covers teh subject in a lot of depth
