Guest Kibagami Report post Posted July 12, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild WC can't catch a break lately, but he's been hanging with the best of the best quite well. The US belt is easy pickings for the Bahama Bomber. SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg Sacred is the awesome. Sacred is the winner. SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Coin toss here. Coin toss says Atlas. SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow Ooo, tough one. Push. SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami While I don't predict my own matches...this one has been a long, long time coming. Too long. You are going down, explodo-bitch. Oh yes you are. Oh yes. ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke Francis is always on, and Stryke isn't always. Mak retains. SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) The M7 are the angry. They'll take this, I think. MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler Strangler's always consistent, and he'll bring a little extra for a World title shot, obviously...but Thoth must keep the belt. Must keep the goddamn belt. Thoth, keep the belt. K.

Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted July 12, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild - Well, I'm going to buck my usual trend, and actually write myself to win a title match! Still, no one in their right mind would pick a guy who was 0 for his last 6 to win a title match, especially when that match was against the same guy who beat him the last time he had a shot at the same title. So... WINNER - Craven SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg - Lessee... I'm 2-1 against Jay Dawg; I'm 0-1 against Sacred. But, Sacred's got Cruiser-lite™ style, so... WINNER - Sacred SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete - Pete gave me teh rub in the JL... Go Pete! WINNER - LDP SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow - I'm very intrigued by the potential of this storyline. I'd like to see a good match, but I can't have these two guys upstaging me and Ejiro, so... WINNER - Janus wins a squash SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami - Kibs has his sights set on Thoth. Will that cause him to look past TNT? WINNER - TNT ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke - Am I the only one who finds it extremely funny that since Danny's eons-long grip on the ICTV title was broken, it has yet to be successfully defended in a match? WINNER - Stryke, to perpetuate the SWF most unintentionally funny running gag... SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) - Justice and Rule no more! No Gold for you! The Unholy Trinity will Turn Up and Kick Ass! WINNER - Unholy Trinity MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler Thoth cheats to win~! WINNER - Thoth
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted July 12, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild -> Wildchild SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg -> Jay Dawg SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -> Longdogger Pete SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow -> Crow SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -> Kibagami ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke -> Here's hoping i don't no-show again. SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) -> M7 MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler -> Thoth
Guest kelloggs Report post Posted July 13, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild Maybe it's just me... I've read Wildchild's last two matches and they had psychology... not just the work the limb to death psych, that I loved to do it the JL, but quality undercurrents and internal storylines. I don't think anyone should be ashamed of losing to the improved writer Ash has become, but Wildchild deserves his shot at this belt SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg Two people I mark out for. Honestly, I never understood why people had that running JD is a jobber thing... must have been before my time. But Sacred is Sacred and if you're in the ring with him, everybody falls victim to a cruel fate. SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Atlas is scary solid, but Pete is on his level writing wise. That said, Atlas will win because, quite frankly, I don't think it's wise to bet against him. He might not have a belt yet, but that could change very easily if he wants it too. SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow Janus is the sensible pick here, but Crow has beaten fuckin' Sacred. That's more than enough of a reason to choose him. Janus to turn his match in ten seconds after I post this, but Crow to take the match, whether it's a written win or loss, I know not SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami This seems to be the test Kibs has been waiting for in and out of character. He lost to TNT by way of Burning Hammer, last summer and I know he's wanted a rematch for a while. If he can beat out the explosive one, that may warrent some consideration for a match with Thoth down the line... be it for the title, non title or something else. Push ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke This is the first time I've faced Stryke and I'll be the first to say that it will be a challenge. I'm writing well and so is he... so lets just wait and see. SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) The Unholy Trinity to take it. Keep on knocking those M7ers down a peg . Actually, logical booking says the M7 goes over here to make up for the tag title loss. MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler Drew Kelking it baby
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 13, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild -Ash is doing the same thing with the US belt as he did with the Hardcore belt. Get it, lose it, repeat ad nauseum. Plus he's not doing anything with it and isn't looking to use it as a stepping stone up the card or using matches to elevate the title or his opponents. I think the cycle says that Wildchild wins it and Ash takes it back in a rematch within two weeks. WINNER: WILDCHILD SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg -Nice old school match up of vets. Sacred isn't as rusty as some might think and JD really seems to be up and down. Sacred got a win in his comeback and I think he needs to stack up some victories to get back to Thoth and the World title by the ppv. WINNER: SACRED SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete -I like both guys a lot and I think both have the writing energy and match construction lay out to make this 'just a match' come off as a nice little sleeper for the evening. Having worked with Pete, I know how his schedule can be and I really think he's going to have to give it 100% to beat Atlas here and he might not be able to do that. WINNER: ATLAS SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow -I would like to see both men get on a role and move up the card, or at least add a nice solid foundation to the hardcore division more than they've already done. I'll go with Janus as Crow doesn't appear to be with the WF flow yet. WINNER: JANUS SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -This just screams double no-show. However, Kibs has been more consistent since his return and the win against Xero last week will probably be very good for him and his momentum. TNT can still produce great matches, but it seems like that only happens once in a dozen weeks. Is this the week? My calendar says no. WINNER: KIBAGAMI ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke -The ICTV has been bouncing around too much lately and it needs to stay with one steady hand. A win here would really help to not only solidfy Mak but the recent lineage of the title as well. I back the Mak. WINNER: MAK FRANCIS SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) -I'd really like to see an all out stable war between these two factions. The feud over the tag titles is only going to heat up from here and could be a feud of the year contender by September. With as dominant as Justice and Rule has been, I think logical booking says that the Trinity squeak out the win in a clusterfuck at the end to show that their title win wasn't a fluke, they have J&R's number and can deal with the Mag 7's blatant cheating. WINNER: TRINITY MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler -Thoth beating Flesher twice only to drop the belt to TBS now is too messy and makes both Flesher and Thoth look weak. Also, I don't know how winning the belt will work with what TBS and TNT are looking to do between themselves. Thoth wins to solidfy himself even more. WINNER: THOTH
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted July 14, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild ~ Wildchild's apparently on a role of good losing matches here... and Jesus, Craven needs to get the fuck away from that title. TEH PICK: Wildchild... hrmph, good Lou Reed song. SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg ~ Hrmph... Sacred, just because he needs to keep a roll going, here. TEH PICK: Nobody ever expects Sacred to show, but I'm rooting for him anyway! SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete ~ Eh, Atlas with the win, because he's looking like the next big thing. TEH PICK: The guy who already beat the other guy's tag partner. SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow ~ Hrmph, Janus, simply because he's been winning up the wazoo lately... and I never can tell with Crow. TEH PICK: The ugly one. No, not Crow. SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami ~ I'm really trying fucking hard to start up a little winning streak here, and AT LEAST start showing up more often than I have been... but Kibagami is out for blood, and I'm having trouble writing this match, considering that we have absolutely NO backstory besides a crappy little hardcore match way back when. TEH PICK: Kibsy. ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke ~ The ICTV just needs to stay in the same fucking place for more than one show, really. Could go either way, but for the sake of the title's credibility... go Mak. TEH PICK: MakFlurry. SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) ~ Va'aiga and Dace are looking like a BRUTALLY AWESOME pair, here, and Danny's my man and stuff, so yeah. TEH PICK: Neo's bitch. MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler ~ Thoth finally got the belt, and I have no clue what TBS would do with it, so I say let it be. TEH PICK: MADAME BUTTERFLY REMIX 4 LYFE OMGZ~!
Guest Crowe Report post Posted July 14, 2003 US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild ~ Wildchild's been unfortunate to lose his last couple matches, because I thought they were quite good. That said, I think it's his time now, he will win this match and the belt, and then have a long run with it. SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg ~ I'm torn. Jay Dee to clip past Muzz this time, but then Muzz will RAPE AND PILLAGE AND STEAL ALL HIS WEED, therefore killing JD. SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete ~ Atlas rawks, and he being the next FORCE in the SWF. SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow ~ Come on, this is a no-brainer. Think about it, Janus is by far, the crappiest writer in the fed, and he's facing the second crappiest writer in the fed. It's fucking elementary... meaning, he's going to staple my ass to the floor and fuck me til it bleeds. SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami ~ ... god. I say it's Kibs taking the win here. ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke ~ DA MAKKITY MAK MAK!!!!!! Even though Stryke owns. SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) ~ I'm looking forward to this... I say M7 to get the win here and GET READY TO GET THEIR TITLES BACK! MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler ~ I'm risking an Anal Blitzkrieg here, but TBS to take the win! Guest TheBostonStrangler Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Well, I'm feeling MUCH more confident after reading these predictions! Thanks, guys! But seriously, on with the predictions (and Crow > j00) US TITLE MATCH Michael Craven © vs. Wildchild Hmmm....a toughie here. WC is one win away from going on a huge tear and really making a name for himself. However, I feel that Craven is probably in the same place. I'll take WC to win, and Craven to finally stop fighting for the damn US title. SINGLES MATCH Sacred vs. Jay Dawg Push. I can't pick a winner here. All I can say is that Sacred is much more likely to show. I'd give Sacred the slight edge in writing, but whatever rust Sacred might have could cancel that out. So a push, assuming both men write to their ability. SINGLES MATCH Atlas vs. Longdogger Pete Hmmm....another toughie to choose. The popular pick seems to be Atlas, so I'll just follow the crowd to blend in. I GIVE IN TO PEER PRESSURE! SINGLES MATCH--BUT THIS TIME, IT'S PERSONAL Janus vs. Crow Crow. Because he picked me. SINGLES MATCH "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson vs. Nathaniel Kibagami I dunno why TNT's so down on himself right now. I think that he'll have the advantage over Kibs in a non-hardcore environment. He just needs to sit down and write his match. However, Silent's pretty damn talented, so he could pull out the win too. I'll take TNT, however. ICTV TITLE STRYKE'S GAMBIT MATCH "The Franchise" Mak Francis © vs. Stryke It's all about the Aussies, baby. I might back the Mak and everything, but Stryke is gonna get his title back. Can you dig it, Jack? SIX-MAN TAG MATCH The Unholy Trinity (Danny Williams, Va'aiga, and Dace Night) vs. The Magnificent Seven (Tom Flesher, Ejiro Fasaki, and "The Judge" William Hearford) This would be a RoH dream match right here. I'm sure Justice and Rule wet themselves when they saw it. I'll take Team M7 right here, as Tom's gonna bounce back in a BIG way after he removed himself from the title mix. MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH Thoth © vs. The Boston Strangler Obviously, no pick. But just a note: I am indeed writing this match to win. You don't turn down shots at the biggest prize in the game.
